Perhaps, though 13 in 27 last season says otherwise. It just pisses me off when people use ridiculous stats to attempt to prove their point, especially when all they ever seem to want to post about is that one point.

He comes into more contact with the opposition's midfield and one of the oppo's centre-backs are often getting a free ride, enabling them at times to double up on our other striker, cos Kuyt's nowhere near the box.

That said I thought he was excellent at Villa last week and he wasn't *****e* today - I just feel we can do better.

See, that's a fair post, not that I agree with it completely, but at least there's some thought in it

Kuyt was great in the first half, average in the second. The looks to be a decent partnership there between him and Torres
          Justice for the 96

The way Pennant is delivering, I don't understand why Kuyt doesn't get himself in the box. He is somewhat built and I am sure he can muscle himself with big defenders. Thats the frustrating thing about him, we know he has a good record in Holland, why doesn't he start proving it?!

That's the big plus for Kuyt this season, IMO. He's an intelligent player and seems to have instantly struck up a bond with Torres. They dovetail very well and are on the same wavelength.

It remains to be seen how Crouch and Voronin work with Torres but Dirk's big advantage, so far, is that he's proved he can work well with Torres.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Don't think my patience with your ****tishness isn't at breaking point. Your point was about Kuyt having no shots on target in today's game, and how that makes him ****, Drogba, probably the best striker in the league, also played in the game, not that you'd have noticed as you only seem to notice one player in all our games, and he also had no shots on target, so my point is more than vaild :whatever:

So the Kuyt bashers are out again are they? People have such short memories.

What's there to remember him about?

I think we could have two very good partnerships, Torres/Kuyt and Voronin/Crouch, will be interestign to see what the latter play together like, but I was very impressed with Kuyt/Torres partnership today.

14 goals in his first season. Match winning performances amongst them. His pass back caused the first goal against Villa etc etc.

I`d like to see a Torres/Voronin partnership given a 4 game run to see what happens.
