About time we started ranting like the pissed old tramp, wenger and maureen do. It works this kind of pressure. Not embarrassing at all, Rafa's sticking up for the club. Another positive change this season - fraid to say we've been far too "nice" in past. About time we stopped being doormats.

You need only look at Sunday to see how pressuring officials/authorities pays off.

If he loses the appeal, which if the panel are fair and just he wont, he will most likely go to UEFA. He could then go to the Euro court of human rights but that would seem unlikely due to the time it would take.

But if he ends up in the reserves for a season id be suing the arse of united for ruining his career.

Im just praying that Rafa throws a 15 million bid in for Micha Ricahrds now thats what we need, 19 year old future England defender who can play right back or centre half.

Is right, it's all well and good banging on about dignity but when you're being arse-raped but chelksi and manure, it gets to a point when you say "enough is enough" time to fight back.

Once the agreement was reached over Maschcerano it took the PL weeks to confirm it.
Thats cos the whole murkiness of the 2 original deals with west ham was only surfacing at the time of Mashers transfer. When the time came for Tevez the Prem league were praying someone would buy him so they could draw a line under the whole mess they created by not paying attention in the first place.I think the deal would have been fast regardless of who signed him,but i agree that Rafa is right in the other things he says and this can only do our "mentality" good.

Well said - a bit of siege mentality will do us good. Fire up the players to do well in those early kick offs I hope.

I think it's fair to say that with the new ownership Rafa feels much more comfortable about letting rip, than he might have done under the previous regime. he's probably been given the green light by G+T.

Rafa has dared to speak against the FA where others would just bicker amongst themselves, full respect to him for that. It will interesting to see how they react to this, if they take no action, they are admitting to the accusations.

In fairness it's probably Rafa who's running the club these days. Rick Parry's probably just the janitor nowadays.

Yep, fair points. I guess our Mascher deal cleared up a lot of paths for Scum in signing Tevez.

Yep, possibly so. Even Parry has been a bit more vocal lately, ripping into Mourinho. Incidentally, was anyone listening to 5 Live in the run up to the Chelea game on Sunday? They played some kind of montage containing interesting comments from Gillett about Mourinho, where he basically calls him undignified or ungracious or something like that. Never heard those comments before.

Does anyone know how this early kick off thing actually works ?

Do Sky have to liaise with the FA or do they just give them a list of the games they want to have as lunch time kick offs ?

I'm assuming that the FA don't unilaterally choose the games but maybe I've got this wrong ?

                              from The Times:

"A Premier League statement read: “The hearing concluded that nature and intention of the disputed June 13, 2007 letter, especially when taken in context of verbal discussions and Manchester United transfer policy, was unambiguous in that it envisages only an international transfer.

“Furthermore, the hearing finds the letter constitutes an ‘agreement to agree’, and did not create an obligation or binding agreement for the club to transfer the player to any particular club.”

The only evidence that I've heard that the letter "was unambiguous in that it envisages only an international transfer" is that the price was in Euros. If it was something more explicit, then Heinze wouldn't have bothered going to court, surely?

so what you are saying is perhaps he should go on a forum, become an internet warrior and complain like **** on a forum???? but not go out into the real world and say what he really thinks!!!

I applaud rafa for coming out and telling it how it is, he is saying what us lot have been saying for years.....if you dont think there is a biase towards scum et all and an agenda against LFC fair enough.....but dont come on forums complaining about mis treatment in various issues

its not the liverpool way? bollox, those who shout loudest get there way in this world i am affraid....and i think it will make those inbreds at the fa think twice next time. Rafa aint stupid he came out with this outburst for a reason, He is measured and clever.....he aint no fool
