Tampere is a finnish team but they lost 3-0 at home against Rosenborg so it's a very big chance that they will end up in the UEFA Cup.

Okay swap Tampere for Anderlecht.

Either way, whatever happens in the draw we will qualify.

Not gonna happen IMO. The cup competitions in most countries are not taken seriously at all. The G14 or whatever it is will never allow this to happen. I think Platini will be spouting ****e for a while just to show how "radical" he is but the power will still be with the big clubs and Chelsea.

I'd prefer not actually because even though they're ****e they always up their games against English clubs. Remember John bloody Hartson knocked us out of the UEFA cup a few years back

The Celtic team that knocked us out of the UEFA cup was probably the best Celtic team for a generation. They were at the peak of their powers whereas we were fairly moribund under Mr Houlliers stewardship

I dont think Tampere United will go through mate, they trail 0-3 from the 1st leg and play the second leg away at Rosenborg.

He's a piece of work alright. I don't know how you could arrive at that conclusion (hating English football so obviously and completely) without being blinded by an irrational hatred. Looking at Europe objectively, surely his favourite leagues in France and Italy are worse in every sense. Quality of football is weak, racism, violence, brown envelopes all over the place....

I've got a feeling Rafa will draw Balenthia this season and I'd be happy to play them or Seville as (a) he'll know them inside-out and (b) it's another excuse for a piss-up in the sun!

Apart from that I'd like Celtic or Rangers for an easy drive up North or any other teams that are pretty easy to get to and not in eastern Europe...
