Im baffled mate, i did not know till the other day that people thought they were not related papers.

Fact is round here most people think they are and as you say it makes me feel better that i wont buy or read it.

Don't have an issue with it, some will and that's fair enough, I understand why some will but don't necessarily agree with them, we don't buy the NOTW in our house but that's mainly because it's ****. It doesn't greatly bother me that Jamie's written a piece for them, it maybe surprises me a bit given the choice of paper but i'm not going to think any less of him for it or anything like that

The way I see it.

I always thought of the NOTW as the sunday sun so therefore I never bought it. I was surprised to hear that it wasn't boycotted by HJC but then again if that's their stance then furry muff. I wont buy the rag and I'm a little disappointed Carra and CB have decided to do articles for them. I think it's a little bit disrespectful for people to tell many scousers on here to 'get over it and worry about something more important'. Feelings about this subject run deep and not everyone is going share the same views it's a grey area and I'm not surprised that there are a lot of people who feel a bit let down. I don't think anyone wont cheer Carra's name or boo him because of it but people are allowed to be a little pissed off.

I know Paul but they are all lumped together TODAY.I really don`t know if i should be annoyed at Carra writing in the NOTW while i watch him every week on SKY SPORTS 1.

Yes but the NOTW didn't print 'The Truth', the *** did. NOTW may be connected to the *** because of who owns them but then so does Sky so by your argument we should be boycotting Sky too.

I don't buy the NOTW because it is ****, however it is not part of the boycott. It never has been and should never be, it has existed for 100 years longer than the s*n. It has had and does have different staff and editors, yes it is owned by the same company but so is the Times, the People and Sky, they are not bocotted either for good reason. The HFSG and HJC have no problem with the NOTW so why should we, the only real reason not to buy it for a valid reason is because it is ****, if anyone does it for that reason I fully support that.
If someone wants to boycott it then fine that is your decision but don't expect other people to follow. Don't try climing as well that most people in Liverpool do boycott as that is plain not true, a lot of copis are sold in Liverpool, where as very few of the **** rag are sold. Anyone thinking people don't buy the NOTW in Liverpool should go into their local newsagent and ask.
