We have still not lost a match yet we have played Villa, Portsmouth and Sunderland away and Derby and Chelsea at home. If you'd have told me on August 10th we'd get 11 points from our first 5 games with 11 goals scored and just 2 conceded I'd have taken that.
We have not lost, we have not conceded a goal and we're still up at the top end of the league with our best start in the premiership in recent years and a home match against struggling Birmingham next week. We're also through to the group stage of the Champions League with three opponents that could have been worse so let's leave out the amateur dramatics and hysterics eh?

still should have won

You make good points in fairness, but the fact that Pompey are a bogey side for us does not mean we should think a point is ok.Are we going to go there next year and think the same too. That struggling Birmingham side heve took points off us too under Rafa.We will beat them easy though because Gerrard,Monster,Torres,Kuyt and Babel will all be back in the team most probably and we will be a completely different team.Originally posted by rushscored4 View PostBit of reality and context needed I think. And another shot hit the bar...Originally posted by PostmanPat View PostTrue but battered them off the park and got hit will a goal against the run of play.We had one shot saved
Still, you're absolutely right 'cos at the end of the season a draw where you dominate the game but don't win because of a breakaway goal is worth more points than a draw where you don't play well, save a penalty and still don't lose...
