    WTF?

Alonso rarely gives the ball away. He's had a couple of missed placed passes recently but I can tell you that chabbi's pass % is one of the highest (if not THE highest) at the club.

I can't take you seriously. You have no clue about football.

That said, I think tonight we just missed playing as a team more than anything.
and the one who instigates us playing as a team is Xabi. He picks the ball up off the defense and gets our attacks going. Noone was doing that last night. They were playing long balls most of the time and when Masher did do it, he gave it away.

we missed alonso, becuase gerrard and masher both ahd massive off days.
Both players are more than capable of playing together and not missing xabi

Personally I think we missed Gerrard, Mascherano, Torres, Carragher, Babel and Pennant

Rarely gives the ball away, maybe so but the game yesterday needed fast passing, Chabbi still takes his time and picks his pass. I thought the midfield two needed more help from the front two

I'm sorry if I offended anyone who is Portugese. I take my words back.

By the way, I knew you never meant it to be racist. But they were cheating or rather overeacting little **** bags, and the referee was very strict and just gave them everything. i'm confident they'll get hammered at Anfield

Sorry, but whatever improvement people feel Xabi gives us ahead of the CM we put out yesterday, it pales in comparison to the effect it would have had if we had pressed in the right areas and moved better off the ball to open up the easy pass. Which is what I was saying.

                              Good post.
When I said that xabi wouldn;t have made a difference, for once it wasn't a particularly low blow comment aimed at him. My point was that the team was bobbins on the whole - the person we missed the most was gerrard!

Stand up for yourself you big blouse! there's nothing at all racist about saying someone is a "portuguese cheating ****". After all, the guy in question was indeed portuguese wasn't he?? another example of oversensitive PC types dictating what we can an cannot say. Have some balls lad!
