So nobody under 30 knows what they are talking about??? I'm over 30 and i've seen bad performances over the years but has no managers tactics and football pissed me off more than Benitez's.

I'd actually suggest that hardly anyone of any age knows anything about anything... but that makes me sound like I belong in the library.

I'm not 'happy' with the performance, but it was a first half against a hard working team who haven't threatened us.

there may be a certain amount of guile lacking in the performance, but the west midlands bitters are working very hard to keep us out.

of course I want to see us playing with panache and verve, but some days you just have to kick the door in.

i expect today will be one of those days.

Ged never had a title winning side. Rafa has one but still dicks around. Pick your best 11 game in game out and then if you've got a game tied up after 60 mins or so, take them off.

Rafa just trusts his squad and wants people to compete for their places. If Torres thinks he's got the god given right to be in the starting 11, he'll become complacent and I'm sure Rafa doesn't want that.

Sure, getting to 2 European cup finals in 3 years really really pissed me off too.

I think Torres is coming in straight for the restart in place of Kuyt.

Rafa never makes changes before it's the 55-60 minute unless it's an injury. I'll be surprised if that happens.

I honeatly don't understand any of you who are ranting or disgusted or shocked by this performance...

You all must be under 30. When we were on top of the world we still ground out results on occasion. and we rarely pumped teams 7-0.

sometimes those days happen, but its the first half against a team who work hard at the back, come off a run of two wins in three games, and went close to beating the chavs on the first day of the season.

please get over yourselves. we don't have some god given right to win every game with ease...

Birmingham playing well. We haven't been that poor but been denied space by an excellent Birmingham defensive display. I just think that Kuyt is off his game today though.

We'll score 3 goals in the second half ... I think Torres is coming in straight for the restart in place of Kuyt.
