we had to play against a team who had 9 men in the box he whole game.

there really wasn' much we could do other than hope for a long range screamer, a Wank Lampard Special, or a dodgy penalty.

    That was ****ed.

I sincerley hope Brum get relegated after watching them play in that fashion.

****ing hell. Im off to bed its 2am here

We played crap and didn't deserve anything more than a point.

We don't have wingers that can get past his man, that is the main reason to why we only got a point. Zero goal threat down the wings. That makes it easy for the teams. All they need to do is to close down the middle of the park and then we have lost much of our attacking threat.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Im old enough to know that the only reason we lost was due to one team not allowing the other to play "football"

one team tried, the other had zero interest.

I bet you thought Rafa was pretty ****-hot when we won the Champions League.....and an Fa Cup.....oh and we were in last years final too.

Yeah his policies are killing this club

We have one world class striker in Torres. He must start in these matches. Benitez, you have to realize that!

Kuit: Why wasn't he substituted? He was awful all day long. His hunt for glory makes me furious. Crap headers towards goal when a simple pass could have given us another player a bigger chance.

The team effort wasn't good enough today. Birmingham was up for fight, we weren't. We looked tired all second half. That's a worry!

Sami Hyyppia: He has become slow now. The result was that we had to be careful for counter attacks the last 15 minutes. Arbeloa should have been drafted in as center back and we could have pushed harder for the goal.

Maybe the one for the reserve players whom plays on Wednesday can force their way into the 1st team for the EPL

Looks like I did well to avoid this game , I imagine the fall-out from the fans and the media (especially about rotation) is going to be intense
                We need better attacking players!

                Torres aint enough

Whatever floats your boat, bottom line in we're playing dung and throwing any title chance we had away, after the start we've made it's feckin sickening.
Away to watch Fulham, City here.

ummm, we still have a game in hand over Chelsea and Utd chief.

                      We are still undefeated.

Arsenal will struggle in January/Feb, as will Chelsea.

as long as we stay above Utd until then we are right in the mix

I would give Leto a chance in the next league game and play Gerrard on the right with Mascherano and Lucas in the middle.

We would then have two wingers who can get past his man and one very creative midfielder(Lucas) in the middle.

We need wingers who can get past his man and Gerrard and Leto are our best options.

Rotation is the new zonal marking a.k.a the cause of all our problems and woes, including world hunger and global warming.

I just wish he field the strongest squad.

3 games ago I believed that, with the run of games we had coming up, it was our opportunity to get a few points ahead, build some momentum and put the pressure on the other big clubs. Instead of this, he's rested our best players again and we've dropped what should've been an extra 4 points over the last 2 games.

Do players really need a rest in September? I'm starting to worry that Rafa is too arrogant to admit that he's got it wrong with rotation and he's going to eventually fall on his sword.

"If Gerrard continues to play up front, leaving this lack of creativity and intelligence in Midfield, the season WILL be over by Xmas."

I still don't think we'll finish in the top 4 this season."
