Why not? Keepers can get injured - wouldn't want Reina getting clobbered in a game in which there's no need for him to play.

Besides, Itandje needs a game - you never know when he might have to be called upon for the serious stuff so he needs some playing time under his belt.

Palleta played most of his games with Sami and Carra would be better beside Hobbs because he is a talker and a bit pacier than Sami.

Birmingham's gone now sadly, and it's time to move on to the League Cup

I think we'll have a good run this year, our reserves and youth players are good enough to beat most teams on our day. It would be nice to win the cup but I think the competition is all about fielding young blood. The further we go then the more experience they will gain, which is vital.


So positives to look for;

Itandje will start
Will be a good chance to look at Leto & Lucas
We can see how Hobbs is doing as he's now training with the senior squad
Aurelio will probably get a run out to build match fitness
