Robbie's star was very bright but relatively brief. Injuries didn't help but with a more professional approach he could have had a truely fantastic career. He should have been on the field in Istanbul, not watching from the stands.

If Torres acts properly I think he will outshine Robbies achievements at LFC.

Gudjohnsen is a good ball player, links up the play very well and keeps the ball better than both Crouch and Kuyt, IMO. Still, I don't think he puts up as much work rate, so I don't want him here.

I don't think we need a striker in Kuyts position. We need a attacking playmaker, like Kaka, Totti or Zlatan.

Not realistic players but that is the type of player we need in that position.

That would speed up our game and Torres would get better support. Torres would also get more space because our opponent would need to close down the attacking playmaker if he is good enough.

It's clear that we need another attacking player because right now teams can put two, three players on Torres because they know that our other attacking player isn't good enough.

Torres would get more space if our opponent had to worry about another excellent attacking threat.

We also need a attacking playmaker to be able to break down teams like Birmingham at home much easier.
