Wenger has rebuilt Arsenal since last winning the league, which I think was in 2004. So, he's created this team in just 3 years, which is no mean feat. I'd be curious to know how much he spent on each of them.
Liverpool have pulled off a signing coup by poaching Argentine-born football prodigy Gerardo Bruna from Real Madrid, according to reports.
According to AS sports daily, Bruna, 16, who has played for Real Madrid's junior side and is considered one of their hottest talents, has signed a three-year contract with Rafael Benitez's men.
Benitez reportedly offered Bruna the chance to train with the Reds' first team while playing competitively for the Liverpool reserves.
"That was an offer I just couldn't refuse," Bruna told the paper.
Liverpool took advantage of Real Madrid's delay in signing a new contract with the young midfielder, who has been compared to the Argentine star Lionel Messi of Barcelona.
Bruna arrived in Spain from his native Argentina at a young age, and has yet to decide which country he wants to represent.

I sometimes wonder why we buy all these kids. They dont get a look in and end up being sold on.
If this lad is as good as he is made out to be then if he is good enough he is old enough and should play. Owen, Rooney, Gerrard, Richards etc all made their first starts aged 17-18.

Liverpool have infuriated Spanish giants Real Madrid by taking the best prospect from their youth academy in a case that has shades of Cesc Fabregas's move to Arsenal.
Argentine midfielder Gerardo Bruna, 16, was being nurtured by Madrid as a future Galactico, but Rafa Benitez's chief scout, Paco de Gracia, has persuaded the youngster to sign a four-year deal with Liverpool.
Real are smarting after being outwitted by their former employee, De Gracia, who originally discovered the teenager while he was working at the Bernabeu. Midfielder Bruna is regarded in the same league as Fabregas, who Arsenal took from Barcelona at the age of 16 in almost identical circumstances.

It's not any good if a player plays to many tough games to early in the career. If they do that then they will just end up with big injury problems a few years later but the player need to play so he can reach his full potential.
It's not that easy to say how many games a young star should play.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
To be honest mate, I think Real owe us one. After we sold them Owen for basically nothing, they NEED to sell us this youngster
We got £8 mill for an employee dragging his heels on commitment to the club and 1 year left on his contract. I believe that still is a record price for 1 year remaining on a contract
