When we signed him and everyone was kicking off cos he wasnt 40 million quid and he wasnt a glamour name I stuck my neck on the line and said he would be one of the biggest reasons behind us winning the league this season.

I give pennant his due, he`s better than I expected and his attitude isnt AS bad as I thought it would be so he`s gone some way to making me eat humble pie. Not all the way yet though as if I could go back in time I still wouldnt have signed him.
