Did Macca get booed? Quite surprised. I used to go to practically every game in those days and I remember distinctly in the run-up to his departure to Real the crowd used to really get on his back when the chips were down (he was something of a scapegoat) but in his last game he got a really good reception, was like a party atmosphere at Anfield.Originally posted by Abro100 View PostOwen an McManaman got bood
But I guess if Owen got a bad reception there's no reason why Macca shouldn't have - he cost us £12m transfer fee so he could pick up his £60K at Madrid.White liquid in a bottle = Milk

Exactly, he played his part in Istanbul. I also remember that he was really involved with the chants/songs on the bus even after they'd been going for several hoursOriginally posted by Diego View Post

Played his part in the final thoughOriginally posted by Kaip View PostEverytime I think of Cisse I think of the FA cup semi final against chelsea........never ever seen a sub come on and put Absolutely no effort in whatsoever, **** me he was shocking
Only former Red I've booed is EHD.
I wouldn't boo Owen, I wouldn't waste my time. I save my voice for supporting the Reds. If a former Red returned whilst playing for the SCUM he would get the booing of his life from me though, that is for sure

If my memory serves me right, I think we (well, some of the fans at Anfield) booed both El Hadji Diouf (quite rightly so) and Michael Owen (Originally posted by AFII View PostWe don't booo ex players. Cisse should know that.
