    Liverpool, Arsenal scout Lazio pair
    tribalfooball.com - October 07, 2007

Liverpool and Arsenal had scouts in the stands for Lazio's 2-2 draw with Real Madrid on Wednesday night.

Rome sources say both Premiership clubs were checking on Lazio stars Goran Pandev and Valon Behrami.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Not sure about Quaresma myself, dodgy character.

But you are right about our strikers and wingers. Torres and Babel (who I've yet to make my mind up about) apart they are either mediocre, or just largely ineffective or have the first touch of a rapist.

Personally I'd like to see Pennant, Kewell and Kuyt sold as soon as possible, and if we can do better Crouch, Benayoun, Voronin, Aurelio and Riise axed as well.

Enough is enough. No more excuses, the money is there to buy quality like Torres and Babel.

Maybe I watch a lot football

I would say that I watch 10-15 games/week so I know a lot more about the players than most of you do.

We're not going to sign Augero. It's not even worth talking about how much he'd cost because A.Madrid simply won't sell him.
          His buyout clause is €36m.

I don't doubt you watch a lot of football. I too have seen both of Insua's top level games. One live, one on the box.

                  Whats the handshake smiley for?

We're not going to spend 20 odd million on him and I imagine A.Madrid will renegotiate that buyout clause in the near future.

The Liverpool striker is not happy with rotating, could he fit in with Arsene Wenger's high-flying youngsters? Today's rumour mill also includes gossip and news from Ajax, Chelsea and Aston Villa among others.
'It seems both sides should cut their losses and Crouch should find a new home'
It seems patience is wearing thin at Liverpool. Peter Crouch, having already refused to sign a new deal and seemingly upset with the constant rotation is now seen as superfluous by Rafa Benitez who is eager to cash in on the giant striker in January (Mail on Sunday). According to the paper, Benitez's patience with his centre-forward has finally snapped following Crouch's lacklustre performance in the 1-0 midweek defeat by Marseille and he is unlikely to play against Tottenham today.

This is one of those issues that you can kind of see both sides to and still not know who is in the wrong. The England international was the top scorer last season across all competitions with 18 strikes from 31 starts. This term he has found his chances limited by the arrival of new forwards Andriy Voronin and Fernando Torres. He is at the age where first team football is crucial, especially with Euro 2008 around the corner. It seems both sides should cut their losses and the 26-year-old should find a new home.

Maybe his new home could be the Emirates (various), the claims that Arsene Wenger may make a bid for Crouch are further fuelled by comments he made last week about a former Arsenal favourite who bares a similarity to the Reds' star. "It is one of my biggest regrets that Niall Quinn was not here during my time. I felt he was an intelligent player. It would have been a good combination with Thierry Henry. What I like with Niall Quinn is if you look at the player who played next to him, he always scored 40 goals because he had a hand for his head and he just put the ball where you were. He was a team player. A top-class player makes other players look good and he had that quality." (Irish Independent)

mate stop stating things as fact will you, no one really cares how many games you watch, most people would just think you're sad watching that many games unless it's part of your job

                            **** me that is sad.

To watch that amount of football, and spend the amount of time you do on here and Tribal Football is bad enough, but to then propogate a myth that you are some sort font of all knowledge is frankly laughable.
                            Oh I don't know.
