I'm sick and tired of paying to see that lazy, overated, arrogant, moody little ****** wander around the pitch with his head down.

He is nowhere near as good as he thinks he is.

        i says to him

        "yeah ya right"

after carrying us for 3 years he should neve rhave a bad run :whatever:
If you are a pal of his, how's things in his personal life at the moment? I ask because his previous dips in form have coincided with problems off the pitch, and he admits as much in his autobiography - his mam and dad's divorce, problems in his love life etc. cause him to lose concentration. I just wonder whether there's something happening off the pitch for him that we don't know about? I hope not, obviously.

[edit] some of the criticism in this thread is way over the top by the way. He was poor today, and has been for a few games now, but if anyone deserves a bit of support in a bad spell then it's him after the times he's saved us in games over the years.[/edit]

He's been crap for 18 months. Sympathy has run out. Time to find a better partnership in CM. Xabi and El Jefecito look promising. BUT has Rafa got the balls to bench SG????????????

First of all, Mascherano is very quick. Second, it's all nice to hear all those D-words going off and start creaming yourself over the "midfield general" dream that Steven Gerrard might be. But our captain is incapable of pulling our strings when we're in a difficult situation and can offer all what you've mentioned as an attacking midfielder, which is what he has developed into in the last few years.

Xabi Alonso is a much more responsible and composed player and I trust him to find the right pass a lot more than Steven Gerrard, who's awesome but shouldn't be in sole charge of our game. Gerrard is good in the middle only when he's got a pass master next to him.

Do you want to marry me?

You are just so spot on.

We are missing Alonso so much it can barely be put into words. He would have thrived vs Spurs joke of a midfield today.

Stevie G will come good again, but he doesnt look interested at the moment.

Rubbish. He had some great games last season, and started this season OK. He's been crap for a few games in a row now, that's all.

Some, not most. He's been inconstient. Anyone who's not wearing the rose colored glasses will tell you that

Some is not good enough for us.

No-one can be fantastic every game. He had a good season last season, not great, but good. This season he started with a MOM performance against Villa where he won us the game late on, followed it up with a good performance against Chelsea, and then he's had a few crap games in a row.

To say he's been ****e for 18 months is way over the top. His present dip is worrying though, and we are really missing Alonso, because Mascher and Momo don't give us much creativity in centre mid if Stevie is having a crap game.

BS he was crap last season.

MOM vs. Villa BS. He did one decent set piece, other than that he was average.

                      On the rest I agree.

Absolutely spot on. Talk of benching our best player and removing the captaincy from him because he's been a bit below par recently is such utter bollocks its beyond belief.

Hospitals in Liverpool will be working overtime working on severe knee injuries that much jerking has gone on.

Yes I'm disappointed with today's performance and that of the last couple of weeks but just three weeks ago it was everybody on top of the world. "Can the words of the Best midfield... be changed depending on who's playing?" etc. etc

****s sake. Few players have escaped going from Heroes to Zeroes with some of you lot in three ****ing weeks.

I'm not happy with the way things are at the moment but I'm damned if I'll join in with some of the utter ****e being spouted at the moment.

Stand up for your team, your club, your players and your manager. Support them through a difficult patch or else **** off. That's what being a supporter means. It's not all Champions Leagues and everything else every year.
You can agree with me, or you can be wrong.

maybe our captain should start acting like he gives a ****.
pulling out of tackles and going round with his lip dragging off the ground is not exactly inspiring is it.
Parry is a clown. En Rafa que confiamos

I suppose not. I hate the way he raised the CL and FA Cups and everything else we won under him and the way he has contributed so much to the team over the years. ****ty captain obviously.
