    agree with that
worked his arse off tracking back, making tackles(unlike some of our defence and midfield)
got in some great positions, winning headers in the box ,created chances for others, scored and one and only time he fecked up was when he should have shot instead of passing to mbe.
Parry is a clown. En Rafa que confiamos

Maybe he was tiring. Players aren't always taken off because they're playing badly.
            .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Said to AA and Shanks that i'd have taken Masher off and gone for it with 3 up top.

Voronin was a goal threat and he was taken off...when we needed goals

Voronin didn't create that much in the second half. He looked tired so it was right to sub him and replace him with a fresh player.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

So, how many chances did Voronin create in the second half?

How is your view of Voronin's freshness or otherwise supposed to be a reliable guide?

I have no way of knowing how tired he was. I suggest that neither have you but do let me know if that's wrong and somehow you are able to judge a player's tiredness on how he looked when coming off the pitch.

Perhaps you are a fully qualified conditioning coach. Perhaps you are an expert on body language. Perhaps you have a preconceived idea of how a person should behave when they are tiring. Hmm, I wonder which it could be.
