what do you want to ask rafa

the official site is doing some ass kissing promo bull**** about asking the manager questions. just emailed mine in

Some of us are not interested in what type of car he drives or what he had for his tea last night and would like a tough question or two to be answered in regards to tactics.
Rafa, On Sunday you replaced Jermaine Pennant with Dirk Kuyt (a striker) and you never, or it never changed the shape of the team. Can you please tell the Fans the logic of that decision especially in lieu of Yossi Bennayoun, a right sided midfielder that was sitting on the bench at the time?

    Spot the difference:

    It's uncanny!
    .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Why spend £11m on a player and leave him on the bench/play him out of position?

If that gets on the site Kev you should become King Mod.

Good quaetion though but they're just going to come out with questions like

"How do you think Torres has settled in?"

"With having a bigger squad does that allow you to rest certain players, unlike last year with a smaller squad?"

"With having fans like Marky19, Sid on Est1892 does it make you despair to be the manager of Liverpool Football Club?"

          Blah Blah etc.......

Some of his decisions are baffling, Kev. Why take Pennant off and replace him with Kuyt? Why take Voronin off? Why take Arbeloa off and keep Riise on? Indeed, why play Riise in the first place?

Against Marseilles, why did he play Sissoko in a home match we should have won comfortably? To me, Momo is the best in the business in away matches at closing the opposition down and winning the ball back. He is not creative enough to play the ball around when we've got more possession at home and so last week he got slaughtered for trying to a do a job he can't do.

Another one that baffles me is why put all his "eggs in one basket" when he tried to sign Heinze? He was so confident he was going to outwit the Mancs we ended up with no cover for Agger and Carragher. Both Carra and Sami were poor yesterday and we've got no other experienced cover and no pace in defence.

There is a light that never goes out. RIP Alan "Mally" Johnston and the 96. YNWA.

That was a bit baffling. Any chance Rafa intended to put them both on but Kuyt had already been warming up so he threw him on first whilst Yossi started his warm up? Something like that? **** knows. It was odd.

Agreed with you, Revo and RS4 on this.

I don't ever recall Rafa making a double substitution. Am I wrong? Maybe it's a policy of his? He often does this - makes one change, shifts a player into another position for five minutes, then takes him off for someone more naturally suited to that position. Just like Yossi/Kuyt on Saturday.

Is it a cautious approach, insofar as him seeing two changes at once as some sort of gamble...? In case, say, someone gets injured soon after the first substitution and he has to change his plans?

He needs more leadership on the bench not convinced by the staff.

He needs a strong right hand man and if Rafa saids otherwise then he's crazy Pako im sure gave great input and contributed alot to the success and of course mistakes but two brains are better then one

Weird isn't it? There must be some method to the madness. I can understand why he doesn't make both subs at once, you can spend more time giving instructions to each player individually if you put them on separately perhaps? But it's quite odd that rather than putting them on like for like, he puts them on the wrong way around if you like. Can't get my head around that at all. To confuse the opposition into scoring an own goal? :scratcheshead:
