And dont get me started on them ****ing plebs in the kop who were trying to start that "attack attack attack" bollox! Makes us look like right ****as.

All this lark about LFC have the best fans, people should take a look at themselves because they are starting to embarrass the club and slowly but surely making that statement a joke IMO
Nothing wrong with being critical of Rafa. No one here is calling for his head but some of us are just questioning some of his recent decisions which even a blind man can see have been baffling at best. Rafa seems to have temporarily lost the plot and it's starting to show in the way our football is so disjointed.

I'm backing Rafa (with the help of some of our underperforming players) to turn our season around, because if he doesn't, more and more questions will be asked. In his 4th year in charge I expect us to mount a serious title challenge...if we don't there won't be many places to hide.

I'm not knocking Rafa- but despite us only getting investment recently he's not been short of money to spend while he's been here. I mean he spent 16.75 Mil in a week when he first got here on Alonso and Garcia.
good point. plus i don't buy the idea that you need top of the range players to pass the ball. ultimately our players are better than the vast majority in the league so should be able to play a style of football more technically equipped than hoofing it.

if you're ****e then play the percentages. if you're in the top 4, then play the ball.

            Booing the players?
Calling for (a different) players head after every match?
            Calling for Rafas head?
            Drop Stevie?

            Ad Infinitum............

Well I've not said any of those things. I've called for us to play football. I thought that was the Liverpool way. And there's not a single reason you've given to explain why we can't get it down and knock it about.

Perhaps it's a general lack of belief.

And I'd say it's partly a lack of courage to pass the ball to someone under pressure, but by extension some of our players are a bit ****. Does player X trust someone like Kuyt or Pennant to retain possession when marked tightly?

Could be a philosophy thing. But Rafa isn't Howard Wilkinson is he? We all remember how good that Valencia side of his passed it. Yet with us so many long aimless balls from back to front or countless passes that go nowhere.

Still don't think he's found the right formula for this league.

No he's not Howard Wilkinson. He's not Gerard Houllier either. But nor are we a ball playing team, as anyone who watched Sunday's match can see. And the irritating thing is, the chances we did fashion were the direct result of getting the ball down and passing. And this is why the long aimless balls from back to front that you refer to are so frustrating.

I can understand playing the percentages if the odds are against you, but when you're a top 4 team playing inferior opposition every week there's just no justification for it.

And as for not wanting to pass it to people under pressure I agree. But isn't that down to players not moving about. In my view there should be three options available to whoever has the ball and that can only happen if the players move about.

Arsenal's kids did it. Okay they struggled a bit last year as they were getting into it but look at them this year. We ARE capable of it.

Look at Man U's team last year at the back end of the season. There was some right ****e in there and on paper their side looked laughable. But their style and pattern of play was spot on and they spanked everyone nonetheless.

We'd be more successful if we passed the ball more in my view. When we passed it around on Sunday we created chances. When we hoof it, then its a pure percentage play thats not justifiable when playing inferior opposition as we do pretty much every week.

I don't ever recall Rafa making a double substitution. Am I wrong? Maybe it's a policy of his? He often does this - makes one change, shifts a player into another position for five minutes, then takes him off for someone more naturally suited to that position. Just like Yossi/Kuyt on Saturday.

Is it a cautious approach, insofar as him seeing two changes at once as some sort of gamble...? In case, say, someone gets injured soon after the first substitution and he has to change his plans?
He alway's does his sub's like that.I reckon he's trying to get the other manager to show his hand by making a substitution to counter Rafa's or something. It is a bit strange the way he does it but I've noticed it every game this season.Only through injury does he make direct replacements.

Will Gary Mc be brought in?

Have you realised yet that Crouch and Pennant are crap?

Why do you have an imbalanced squad consisting of world class players and average duds?

Pako has been a massive loss and effected us massively,do you agree?

Have you identified who has to leave the club and who you want in in the next transfer window?

What is the point in buying youth players if you have no faith in them?

I sent in this and expect these questions to be put to him

I love the guy but he is a frustrating as they come.I'm not blind to what he has done and feel he well be a great manager for us but only if he has the right players.

I think that is my main gripe to be honest.I dont want a team of egotisticle superstars but a very good team who play nice football and entertain and get results.
