I say we should get a player who knows this league and will not need a season to 'adjust'. So it has to be Robbie Keane - and he is a massive red apparently. Come on Rafa, you know it makes sense.

Van Persie would be a good partner IMO

Someone realistic though, I'd say Anelka

The absolute perfect partner for Torres is Drogba!! They would be unstopable!!

Torres being quick skillfull and playing in behind, and Drogba being strong, holding up and linking the play!! Both have the ability to score 20 goals!!

            Menez, Zlatan, Gomez (Stuttgart)

so long as it is someone who has a simular impact as Torres.

Not the most fashionalable player, but I'll be very happy if we signed him. Would soften the blow of losing Crouch

                    Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

tough one, if there was a time machine built I'd go back and snatch the King to play alongside Torres!
but seeing that isnt a possibility (yet!) I would say Keane isnt a bad shout, very quick, can drop of the main man and link play, scores goals as well to boot!.

As has been mentioned Rooney or Tevez would also be ideal for Torres. Maybe if we'd kept Lil Luis he could have worked well with Torres.

I can also see the argeument for a big striker alongside him such as Toni/Drogba/Zlatan (dont rate him at all!) or even Berbatov (overrated and overpriced imo) Certainly of what we have at the moment, only the Crow has looked able to have the class to play with Torres.

I think the best type of player to play with Torres is a one that plays behind him as the second striker.

There is some players that probably would do a very god job in that position.

Nasri, Diego, Van der Vaart, Aguero, Raul and Deco.

You could add some less realistic ones as Zlatan, Totti, Kaka, Iniesta and Messi for example.

                          Berbatov IMHO
It's easy to distract fat people. It's a piece of cake.

I'd go for Drogba, he's as good as any forward around in my view. His strength is unbelievable, he's good in the air and scores his fari share. Drogba & Torres would have the lot.
