"looking through your posts since 2007 and what you have consistently written about my football team I have come to the conclusion that if you had 1 more brain cell you would be a plant .. your father was a hamster and your mother smells of elder berries, I fart in your general direction ..." Nicey
I think crouch is the best option for Torres. Keane and Van Persie are excellent and would do an amazing job, but all three of them are known for swift movement. I think Crouch has the holding up and link up play that can link with Torres' direct nature of play.
Crouch's holding up could be good especially linking with the midfield in order to move forward. He needs to get a run of games which is clear though to bring his confidence back. Kuyt tries to be direct from a deeper position and that role needs someone who is a better passer/link up player and I think that's why I feel he is not effective, he is easily dealt with by midfielders as he is not creative enough. You would need someone like a Gudjohnsen, Saviloa, Aimar type player if you want someone to drop deep, an excellent passer with an eye for goal.
Quit your jibber jabber!!!
Jermaine, you know the song Billie Jean...is it about the tennis player??
Crouch slows down our play to much to be a good partner to Torres.
We need to speed it up and not slow it down and that means a player that will only need one or two touches before he delivers the ball.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.
"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."
You know you're in the twilight zone when Pacman is making the most sense.
It had to happen sooner or later.
. Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
