                      He had a couple of sublime touches and was in the right place to slot home the shot that got the penalty. With Lucas and Babel on the team had a youthful edge about it that was exciting to watch. We should have scored 3-4 times in the last 20 minutes

                        He looks a very special player, always seems to have time on the ball, has an eye for the right pass, and isn't afraid to get stuck in.

                        Him alongside Mascherano gave the midfield a great balance and calm, if those two of the future of Liverpool's central midfield we have a lot to look forward to.

                        His first pass to pick out Voronin was sublime.

                          I was totally gutted for Lucas yesterday, he had the opportunity to kick off his LFC prem career with the winner in the derby but was robbed by that manc c&#t. That would have given the boy some amount of confidence, something that much of the team (Gerrard, Momo in particular) is missing at the moment. Looking forward to seeing more of him.

                            Lucas seems to be a very talented player but I'll wait until he plays for more than 20 minutes in a League match before annointing him the next World Player of the year.
