Rafa stood my Morientes and, well, he didn't get better.
Morientes was 31, Momo is 22.

And Momo was fantastic before his serious injury.

Improve him?You cant teach him how to pass the ball.Alonso was'nt taught he just had it.Momo is a major reason we are playing poor football.
How he came off after Gerrard is mind boggling. He has to go
Oh the man is a midfield maestro

Enough of the negativity. I'm culprit of hanging too long in such threads, win or lose. That's it for me.

        Talk about LFC supporters. Fickle.

If Lucas can fit in straight away and show the form that made him Brazil's best player last season, then he will deserve it and probably Rafa would have to make a choice, but I don't think they are similar players. What momo brings, Lucas doesn't.

So, in that sense, Rafa is probably juggling with all the different qualities which his players are bringing to the 'team'. It's a difficult thing to do, he will get it right as well as wrong. Part and parcel of the game.

As for Momo, it's up to him to prove his doubters wrong. I will stand by him as long as he's a LFC player.
I'll back him every game he plays too, but I'm not going to pretend he's better than he is afterwards. I think you missed the point of my post, I was arguing with your brushing off Momo's criticism by saying it's a team game, which is just silly. You're right, Momo is a different type of player to Lucas, but there are certain core attributes that ALL players in that position should have and Momo lacks there. Love him.

            Haha, I know mate

It's just one of those things on a forum though, there's never a convenient time for criticism. If we've just won, people are never happy, if we've just lost, it's a knee-jerk reaction, if we've not played in a while then people are bored or it's the school holidays. I think it's alright as long as people are constructive, but I take your point though that in general some can just look miserable and isn't constructive at all. Which ****s me off no end too.

None of this really matters - I can;t see him being sold as that would leave Rafa one player short to juggle with!!

How can you put a positive spin on his inept performances?
I watched the game with a friend and he said it was like watching Traore in midfield and it was.

Anyway great last gasp win but Sissoko is indefendable at the moment IMO.

dispensable.i'd bite the hand off of anyone willing to buy him...even if that means selling him at a lost. dont see him becoming the player everyone wants him to be.he's only been regressing and cant really him turning the tide.sell ...we have enough cover

Why? Because other's views are the opposite to yours?

He is our fifth best central midfielder so I guess we can let him go.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

He's been ****e but so has everyone else tbh for now I'd keep. If everyone else gets miles better and Sissoko is still playing **** then I'll be happy to sell, but people are too short sited and I think that he has a role to play for us. It's early days.

I don't think Momo has played well since his eye injury and I wouldn't have played him against Marseilles or today but that doesn't mean I'd ever slag him off. Or any other Liverpool player for that matter. Maybe because I'm a supporter rather than just a follower like some of the fickle ****ers on this forum. Present company excepted of course...
