To me its not a football decision, we won't get any better or worse, whether he stays or leaves.

Under the best case he becomes a cameo player, pulled in for games against the weaker teams and for the big games like Barca. We definitely have enough strength depth to absorb his loss.

Have to admit though, that I do like him, he is a real warrior.

I think Momo, Crouch and Riise have little future at Anfield. I'd like to see us buy Anelka in January.

The new Desailly (Traore) = ****
The new Zidane (Cheyrou) = ****
The new Vieira (Momo) = ?

Can we stop labelling our players after former French legends please?

I'm glad Danny Murphy was labelled better than Michel Platini by Houllier. If he'd have been called "the new Platini" he'd have turned out shi......

          Oh.

We need a partner to Torres but we also need a winger and a central defender.

First priority in January should be a skillful central defender.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

You all should get your coaching badges and apply for the LFC manager job next time around.

I have to say I'm not 100% convinced by either Mascher or Momo at the minute. Obviously Mascher when given time is a top player but in the PL his passing has left a lot to be desired at times and he adds less to our attacks than he does for Argentina. His holding play is good but it has fallen of late from the exceptional standards he set when he came and he lacks Alonso's ability to control the flow of a game. Momo has the ability to play a unique role for us but his passing is far to sporadic in it's quality. It is possible he would improve with a run in the team as at times he has looked to be improving only to slip back to his old ways.

There is definitely a case to keep Momo long term but I think he needs to improve or be sold in the summer.

Momo is only 22 but to me he looks worse now than when we bought him, his passing is nothing short of embarrasing and he doesn't seem to be making tackes with the same velocity that he once did, maybe he is being asked to play a slightly different way and simply can't?

His performance taday was dreadful but even that was light years ahead of his dire performance against Marseille. He is now out 5th choice central midfielder and should not get a game ahead of the other 4 barring injury

The thing about Masher is he is constantly moving for the ball in the way any team that has any hope of playing a passing game must do. He shows for it all the time. I really like him.
