Arbeloa will probably play if he is fit. I doubt very much that Rafa will play Hyypia against Arsenal if he has other options. That would mean his third game in eight days. That is one to many for Hyypia these days.

We have started to let in goals right, left and centre since Agger got injured. That's not a coincidence.
    Sami will play.

    For sure.

The thing about Hobbs is Rafa has to eventually give him the ball and see if he can run with it, the same goes with Insua and some of the other youngsters, what use of having them taking a place in the squad if they are NEVER going to be given an opportunity.
      We come not to play.

Your argument has been refuted point for point many times in this thread. You can keep on going if you want, but you're getting repetitive. Rafa's looking for an assistant manager, don't you want to apply ? You'll be more akin to suss Hobbs' qualities in his ear if you do so.

Is Rafa really looking for a new assistant?

I still think that but I also said that I want Arbeloa to play but if he isn't then Hobbs would be a better option than Hyypia.

So first choice Arbeloa, second - Hobbs, third - Hyypia.

Or second, third and fourth choice if you consider that Carra is first choice, or third, fourth and fifth choice if you consider that Carra and Agger are first and second choice.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Well, we could all forward AFII's name to him and I'm sure he'll recognize his credentials.

A few other names from this forum could be put forward too though. The choice is difficult.

I think though they need say a league cup run to develop relationships with the first team players in a lower pressure environment before being put in against the top teams. Later in the season there may well be a good opportunity to play them in the PL if the rest of the team is functioning well and we are playing Wigan, Derby or another poor side.

Effenberg has retired and he wasn't a central defender.

If, and most likely he will, Hyypia plays, I can see Rafa playing Momo and Mascher in midfield. They break up play more effecient than Xabi, I know Xabi is an outstanding tackler but he's not very mobile, Arsenal are however.

They used all their goals up last night I hope. Often fail to score after banging in seven like that. they wont find it anywhere as easy as that against us thats for sure.

We should have no fear playing them. They should fear us. If Torres plays they will be bricking it, be sure of that. If we get Agger back even better.

Dont get too carried away with them beating a poor side like Slavia - they havent come up against a top side yet this season, they will on Sunday when they meet us!
