it is what I've heard, maybe a bit of risk to throw him in on Sunday, but he would have the pace to cope with the Arsenal attack.

true, the kids have to be given a chance.
One thing I will say, if the kids are good enough they will be given a chance to prove it. Just look at Arsenal and the kids he's thrown into the ring this season.

I can't understand the Sami bashing in this thread.
What Sami bashing?? He's a LFC legend but he's getting slower and his best days are behind him. That's not 'bashing', it's reality.

Let's hope Agger is back or else we will have our hands full with Arsenal's incredible attack.

Sorry, I don't get what you mean. How does mentioning that Arsenal have an awesome attack 'smack of desperation'.

Do you disagree that Arsenal are an awesome attacking side?

                  Thank you DS

Arsenal are probably the best attacking team in the world right now together with Barca.

Both of them have pace all over the pitch. Our back four with Hyypia are very vulnerable to pacy players.

All a player like Walcott need to do in a one on one with Hyppia is to put the ball 7-10 yards behind Hyypia and run past him. No need for any special skill. He just use his excellent pace against Hyypia's tanker turning movement.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I agree. It's a no brainer...Arsenal are brilliant going forward and even the likes of Carra would have his hands full against them. Hyppia would struggle badly.

Sami is finished at the top level imo. Great player for us over the years yes, but it happens to them all at some stage.
I would throw Agger in if it was in anyway possible, i think Sami may well get slaughtered by their attack if he plays.

This is goibg to be an intriguing game. We're not playing well at the moment, theyre flying and theyre going to get their first real test of the season.
IMO this game is going to be a marker for both sides for the rest of the season. If we win itll really get our season back on track and we can pick up our momentum again. If they win itll prove to them they can compete with the other "big 3" and i think theyll take some stopping if they get a result against us.
Vital that we win it, we're at home and i fancy us strongly for this one.

I think if we put out our very best 11 then we'll beat them.
