Whoever says that Liverpool weren't w*nk last night needs their head testing. That's fact. So that means Rafa, Carra and Stevie do as they were under some deluded impression that we played well yesterday.

I don't see the harm in people coming on here and slating the performance. That's what the manager should do as well. Why give the players a false sense of realism that they actually played well? They were rubbish against a rubbish team

They've definitely dodged some bullets in the League. However DJS and the like are still Liverpool fans. They are just realists. Deep down no Liverpool fan is happy with how we are playing. Most of us are pleased that we're still in the title race. In the long-run however we can't continue to play like we are.

I'm hoping we can turn our form round and play like we did at the beginning of the season as we looked real contenders for the title then. At the moment that seems a long way off though

The tactics, mentality and motivational levels are all perfect then? In my opinion yes, as perfect as can be. All of our players have said on numerous occasions that Rafa leaves no stone unturned regarding preparations/tactics for matches.

He doesnt get it wrong all of the time, no manager in the history of the game ever has. Of the current managers around though I can think of no one who consistently gets tactics right on more occasions than Rafa. I dont have a problem with the tactics at all, this is one area I dont think Rafa can be called into question for at all.

The mentality is **** because we keep playing ****e, as soon as the lads get there game back together and performances improve, then so will mentality.

As for the motivation, what more motivation do you need? These players are playing for the best club in the world???

I think we started well last night and panicked when the 1st goal went in. It was a freak sloppy goal that should never of happened. Stevie was always looking for the killer pass after that instead of playing it simple and being a little more patient (which is the reason I believe Rafa took him off on Saturday). Too many players didn't perform and as I said in a previous thread if you have one or 2 players not at their best then you can get away with it but last night Kuyt, The Crow, Finnan, JAR, Pennant and Sami all looked below par and that's what cost us. I have no problem with the tactics however I would have either started Crouch or at least given the lad more than 8 minutes to pull us out of the ****. That's my take on it and we must do better however I support Liverpool, I believe in Rafa and I believe in the players we have at this club. That doesn't make me a better supporter than you or DJS but the constant negativity towards the club that I love and the players and manager that I believe in is going to get a reaction out of me and I'm sorry for that.

I believe in the song 'You'll never walk alone' and it's times like these that the words to that song mean everything what I think our great club is about.

Back in the old days, when the kop was standing, when you had to queue for hours to get in as it was pay in only and no fancard bollocks, when the kop stunk of piss, when it was a physically uncomfortable battle to watch the match as you where jammed in like sardines and invariably had a crush barrier squeezing the last drops of air out of your lungs.
We supported the team. If we went a goal down it was gut-wrenching, but by the time the restart was about to be taken the kop was in full roar, roaring the team on, regardless of the goal we had let in, regardless of how **** we were playing, we would ROAR the reds on to victory.

How many of these ****ers on here were on the kop back then roaring the reds on with me?

I genuinely do dislike some of the so-called "fans" we have attracted in the last 15-20 years.

Watching the game last night one thing was painfully obvious, some our supporters of late have been really really ****. No passion, no commitment and the ultimate sin for on the players no loyalty. Watching them Turkish fans jump up and down and waving there arms about like a mentalist who has just found a new pile of kak, reminded me of how quite Anfield is on most League days. How negative people are online and how utterly depressing this section of the fanbase make it for others to follow our beloved Liverpool FC. When I was a member of that site which will not be mentioned I used to go to there matchday chatroom every Liverpool game, it was kind of a good luck ritual. I lost count the amount of time “fans” would be all over the team when we are 1 – 0 down only to change there tune at 3-1 full time. The number of times I have said We are having this you wait Only for the boys to come good and there dissenters to quietly log off and disappear into night with not the slightest hint of ok credit were credit is due.
These Turkish fans sang till there lungs fell out of there arses for the full 90 minutes, cheering on there lets face it **** football team to a famous victory. Our fans who have seen their team literally win every single trophy in the game bar one in the last ten years, reach two Champions Lg finals in 3 years a UFEA Cup final victory, you would be lucky to get two verses of a song and only after we have scored a goal. Visting fans to Anfield now regularly take the piss out of our Home support which is just too embarrassing for words. Its like someone coming to your gaff and just laughing at your misus’s furniture.
And then you go online and sweet baby Jesus fish cakes the hordes of doom Sayers just lie there in wait, looking for anything to latch onto to have a go at the team. About a month ago I said if Pepe had two bad games people on here would be calling for him to be sold and I guarantee that would happen . Rafa makes a very gutsy call last week taken off the club captain and replacing him with a player who basically won us the game, hes reasons were very sound and initially went over most peoples heads, does he get credit, Does he ****.

No No same old miserable depressing Liverpool fan support, Rafa’s mad, how dare he take Stevie G off. Same people 2 weeks previous were saying Rafa does not have the bollox to drop Gerrard. No doubt Hypia will get the special Anfield faithful treatment now. A legend of player who has been nothing but a rock for Liverpool for years and years .. playing out his career with the club he used to captain and sure getting caught out a couple of times, but will any of amazing amount of medals and trophy’s count for anything will it ****, who cares.

I have been posting online in Liverpool forums for perhaps 5 years now and I have noticed that all the people who speak sense eventually just give up been active contributors because like clockwork every matchday someone find something to negative about usually the majority of contributions. Even when we win by clear margins there will be yeah but the manner of the victory was not good enough. Some of the stuff I have read online has been truly shocking, Jammie Carragher will only ever be a squad player, Pepe is a liability not to mention some of the sick references to Geds illness by his own fans.
I have the upmost respect for our travelling section always put on a performance you could be proud of. There are countless fans online who really know there stuff when it comes to football analysis but overall I have to say its all a bit Wooaa is me at Liverpool FC and I place that firmly at the foot of the fans doorstep. Every year Rafa has delivered a massive prize to this club, his first year wad the biggest prize in club football, his nay sayers said it was a fluke, he nearly did it again 2 years later. Some fans of the biggest football clubs in the world can only dream of a Champions Lg final we’ve had two in 3 years. If we are not good enough in Europe this campaign then so be it. I have faith in Rafa, the fans I am not so sure.

no, i think his point is generally, Liverpool will play really well, and will play really badly. he's been through the highs and lows and will be fairly constant in his opinions throughout whereas I'm sure your slagging us off when we play badly, and then saying how amazing we are when we play well.
