Hyypia- Not good enough anymore, he can head all day, but his distribution is woefull and he's too slow
Riise - Poor in defence, poor in attack - not good enough
Gerrard - Best display for some time, very happy with his return to form
Alonso - Superb display of passing, we are so much better with him in the team, disapointing that he's probably back out for a while
Mascherano - Did his job well, his passing still looks a bit off, but it's a minor gripe
Kuyt - Played well enough, doesn't benefit him playing out of position so much
Torres - Didn't look fit, why was he playing at all, someone in our medical team needs to be questioned about this
Voronin - Poor all match, came off about 60 mins too late

    Arbeloa - Looked rusty
    Bennayoun - Average
    Crouch - Should have started
Agree with everything except Kuyt, I thought he was poor for an attacking player.

      Sorry Fredo but no way!!!!

He looks awkward, no skill, always looks off balance and chasing the ball after a crap touch. He's a grafter that would be more suited to Pompey then us we should be looking for lovely skilled footballers that other teams have including some of Arsenals players who are a joy to watch

....but you are entitled to your opinion of course

Excellent my arse! What game were you watching pal? We were given a footballing lesson and were lucky to escape with a draw. Put it this way fella, had Arsenal gone away with a victory, it would have been a victory they fully deserved, so how the **** can you say we played excellent? :whatever:

No get them out of it as well. Totally agree with that.

Fredo singled out Kuyt for praise, I was responding to that.

Given that we had a few players go off injured /not be 100% I'm OK with that result - Arsenal are in top form right now

We showed signs when Alonso was on the field that we are tough to beat

When Agger returns we will get back into our stride imo

Bad News: Torres and Alonso injured, **** result

              Good match though
I didn't even realise Alonso was playing until he was taken off! One thing though regarding today's tactics - just imagine if we'd had 2 quality wingers out wide instead of kuyt/voronin - crikey we'd be dangerous!

Thought Masch was back to his best today aswell.
Monster was top class today.Alonso and Gerrard were very good and we were good at the back.Unlucky not to score a late one.
Crouch did well and Alonso going off killed us.Arbeloa being out of position cost us.
Oh the man is a midfield maestro
and his passes are sooo delightful

                    We need more creativity.

I hope that Rafa will splash the cash in January for someone like Nasri, Aguero or Diego.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

                        He lost possession all day.

The day a player like him is deemed good enough is the day we become another Everton/Aston Villa.

You want Heskey back do you?
Why it's laughable ? Kuyt was excellent, that's my opinion, as much as your's is probably as laughable.

Rafa FOOKED up royally today. Can someone here PLEASE PLEASE tell me why play Kuyt & Voronin as wingers when actually they are strikers ?
Why not play the players in their position ?
Why is Babel & Benayoun on the bench.

Rafa showed desperation today by screwing up the tactics, again. Too bad cos this game was ours to win, hands down.

i think the turning point in the game was when alonso got injured, we would have won the match with him on the pitch. we need better strikers as always, but it was a great match, lot of suspense...

if we play like we did today, then very few teams can do what arsenal just did...

can't wait for us to get some new faces in january, we are to slow in attack and defence...

I'm a realist. What were you watching? Yes we created some chances, but we should at home, and we have some quality to do that. But the difference between their passing and movement and ours is like night an day.

Rafa needs another clearout for me. So many just aren't good enough.

Short term give Crouch and Babel a run. Kuyt and Voronin have had their chance, they haven't done it.
                              Agreed

I would also like to add that we looked more dangerous when Crouch was on the pitch.

I hope you were watching Rafa? :whatever:
