Post Match Thread: Still unbeaten, Gerrard's on his way back....

    Crouch getting his chance.

Bad News: Torres and Alonso injured, **** result

    Good match though
Contrary to popular belief, I have huge genitals.

We're not as good as Arsenal, despite having better players, and we're playing catch up.

Outplayed for a far superior Gunners team on our own pitch, who should have won the game.

I don't see any positives outta today.

        One dimensional clueless football again.

Pass and hoof is getting on my friggin nerves!!!

We played very well I think. Xabi's could be a bad injury, apparently it's his knee which twisted.

Stevie as you say had a magnificent game, and had we had Torres and Xabi 100% fit, we would have won this match.

Stevie didnt do much in the 2nd half but played well enough, but scored a cracker

Kuyt was useless, how can Rafa not see this

            Masher was excellent

Crouch did well enough when he can on should of scored, but he added something to the match

Babel should of been put on

            Risse is getting worse

Xabi played well on his return

We looked very limited up front and creating chances
When you feel like you're done, you are not alone........

Got given a footballing lesson for me.

I'd sell my soul to see us play football like that.

Kuyt's officially driving me crazy. He's an awful, awful, footballer. Anyone who says otherwise obviously doesn't know a good player from a bad one.

Crouch proved a point. A striker who threatens to opposition. Rafa take note.

Hope Torres and Alonso injuries aren't too serious.

Steven Gerrard's back. Nice to see you fella.

I'm off to put some serious money on Arsenal winning the league.

                  Guess

We weren't as bad as we have been, but we were second best for 70 mins.

Mascherano and Carra also looked injured so I can understand that Arsenal dominated the game the last 15-20 minutes.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Why is SG our only bloody goal threat????????????????????????
When are we going to master the art of PASSING?????????????

We were pretty much played off our own park - **** result.

He had a good game no way near magnificent.

Mash and Crouch did well, Alonso seemed to be getting into the game shaking off his rustiness until he got injured.

Riise, Kuyt and Hyypia were ****. Vronin was average at best.

ARSEnal look like the far superior team.

i ****ing hate the fact that plenty of people on this forum only come here to slag us off

i am behind rafa all the way on everything but one thing

                          crouch MUST start

hopefully the 2 spaniards are not too badly injured

annoying to concede in that way again- a stupid ****ing gift of a goal but i cn't quetion the spirit and the work ethic, just lacking confidence.

                          it will come

                            Mascherano was epic.

Looking forward to seeing Lucas get his chance.

Rafa's got some serious work to do though. Still too many clueless, hopeless players in possession.

How negative can you be it's untrue ! We've played well today. Arsenal can outpass any teams but they don't create much compared to the amount of possession they can have.

It's been a tactical decision by Rafa to play a counter attacking game, but we could have used the ball better for 20 mins in the first half just after our goal.
