no but i've seen far too much of the pitiful excuse we have for 3 of our 4 strikers.

we wouldn't miss kuyt, voronin or even crouch. 20 million right there. buy any one of keane, anelka or aguero and we have quality over quantity

I don't think any team have won the league having quantity over quality.

They have 13-14 excellent players and four, five good players. That's the way Wenger, Maureen and Fergie have built their teams and it works in an excellent way.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

depends on the quantity. If you bought ALL the players, you'd win the league

            True, but what about Bergkamp?

Joking aside, the question should not be "where" they play rather "how" they play.
Mentioning Aguero and Huntelaar in the same thread is mindboggling. They are completely different players. Would Huntelaar work well with Torres? Would Aguero?
Aguero lacks height and physical strength, I worry that he'd be bullied out of games.
Huntelaar relies on service, preferably from wide men, which makes a mockery of him signing for us.

So what type of player would work well with Torres? I suppose you can only look at his previous playing partners. I do know one thing, Villa plays well with Torres for Spain.

How about we buy one of those big ****ing African players like Portsmouth have? They seem quite handy.

Kuyt will be off in the summer. I'm certain. The same thing happened to Morientes. Rafa gave him chance after chance to deliver. He didn't and he was off.

I like Kuyt as he always gives 110% for us, but he's just not good enough I'm afraid.

Dip Crouch in some mud and we're sorted.

Sorry but that is utter rubbish. He is already very strong and will in two, three years time be much stronger and that means that he will be more or less unstoppable.

                        Let's get it right.

Aguero is strong and will get stronger but there is nothing he can do about his diminutive frame which, like others before him, would put him at a disadvantage that he would have to overcome to become a success in English football.
It's not good because it's rude. It's good because it looks like it's good because it's rude.

It's all about if you have the right mentality. If he is prepared to work hard and be prepared to be kicked at then he will be a huge success if a PL club signs him.

He already have the skill, pace and strength to succeed in the PL.

The title of this thread should have been 'Kuyt isn't a forward'

Oh and he was clinical in Holland. He needed a lot of chances to score his goals.

I personally don't see him as an improvement on Kuyt, people criticise Kuyt for being slow and having poor technique but Hunterlaar is worse and unless he scores does very little else for the team. It would cost us close to £15M-£20M to sign him, do you think he is worth the gamble?

Just my opinion and I'm sure there will be others who disagree with me.
Well, just because Kezman or Kuyt or whoever else didn't make it, doesn't mean that Huntelaar won't make it either.
I think the key word is "gamble". That's something you have to do with every player. The money is spent and you always hope that they'll do the job.
Well, here we are in a room with two manky hookers and a racist dwarf. I think I'm heading home.

That hardly makes his potential for being bullied off the ball "utter rubbish" though, does it?
