Did anyone on here buy a shirt with his name on it? If you did, would you admit to it anyways

Oh, and yes, I suspect Kuyt is Houlliers' Cheyrou.Originally posted by CharlieMansonsSquint View PostDoubt it.
He played the full 90.
Anybody else would've subbed him at half time.
In fact, **** that, 99% of people wouldn't have started him.
Is Kuyt Rafa's blind spot, like Heskey/Cheyrou were with Ged?
I'm really not sure Benitez understands forward (or forwards') play. I think it's down to his mis-trust of play which was not pre-meditated, or part of the plan. He may look at strikers as the first line of a very deep defense?Francis.
...."Any team that concedes as few goals as we concede is going to be tough to play against..." - Fernando Torres on Liverpool
And when I say 'play Gerrard on the left', I mean on the left
A defensive mid for £18m?

True, and that's why we all love him. But he is also continually in spaces to recieve the ball and attack. He makes space for himself and his usually top rate control gives him that extra yard.Originally posted by Armchairkopite View PostTorres cost over 20 million quid and is World class, he can and most of the time does score goals from nothing.
I don't expect LFC to go out and buy David Villa or Dimitar Berbatov, but surely someone like Anelka isn't out of the question? Not him in particular, but similar ability and price range.Forwards.......

Well, he has scored three goals in the league this season and two of them was penalties.Originally posted by stuartb View PostSeeing as he has his own thread in here now - does anyone know his goals to games ratio for us since he joined? Other than a PK a while back im not recalling him scoring much...
Crouch has scored no goals at all in the league.
Voronin has scored two.
So three of our strikers have combined scored five goals in the league and two of them was penalties.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

He's so out of his depth I feel sorry for him. I really want him to do well and support him on the pitch maybe more than anyone else, but he keeps letting me down.
He's just not good enough, has regressed since last season, and looks a pub player these days. The things he used to be decent at, he's now poor at. His touch and control have been nothing short of abysmal this season.

In the pub today full of reds and we were all in disbelief that Kuyt stayed on the pitch. It's no laughing matter. It's detrimental to the side when he plays. It's costing us games. He offers nothing apart from hard work.Originally posted by CharlieMansonsSquint View PostTell what's more of a shambles mate, the fact that Rafa didn't sub him.
Unbelievable.

The worst thing is that I think that the players know about that when they play and that means that they are starting to question Rafa's decisions.Originally posted by desertscouser View PostIn the pub today full of reds and we were all in disbelief that Kuyt stayed on the pitch. Why Kuyt instead of Babel?Just believe and you never know what will happen.
