A free attacking position together with the other two attacking midfielders. The three players behind Crouch can change position all the time. That will make it very difficult to defend against.

I would much rather see Lucas given a game in the deeper role. From all I've heard that would be his natural position and with Xabi out there is potentially a need for him to play there in more important matches.

I would expect Arbeloa to start as well - either at RB or CB. I quite like the idea of playing a young CB partnership who know each other well but I suspect Rafa would like someone with experience in there to organise.

I would like to see Babel given a go against weaker opposition as well. So my guess at the team would be:
