Maureen targets Rafa's job - would you be tempted???
shows how desperate we have become and how classless some liverpool fans are to want this piece of **** that represents everything wrong with the modern game to represent the best and most famous club in the world known for all good in the game.
He would dirty the name of liverpool fc. we have more class than this. I feel sick even thinking about him running up and down our line. talking down about our great achievements. how does the song go **** OFF mourinho
If you lot want to bask in the glow of being 'classy' then thats fine by me. But I'd rather we won. At almost any cost. I'm willing to put up with Mourinho for the results he'd deliver.
A couple of points however. 1. I'd rather Rafa stayed. SHOULD he go, then I wouldn't be against Mourinho coming in, but I don't want Rafa to go.
2. People talking about how he needs a big budget, who's to say Hicks and Gillett wouldn't give him one.
There's one point many overlook with mourinho and thats his brilliant record at Porto. At Chelsea, as well as he did, he was backed financially, like no other manager. But at Porto thats wasn't the case. He won the UEFA Cup & CL in successive seasons, a massive achievement.
Whilst Rafa should be given every chance to succeed and whilst i don't like lots of things Morinho says & does, on purely footballing terms he's be a top notch successor to Rafa.

Rafa won the uefa cup and champions league in successive seasons also so i`ll stick with him
I'd take Mourinho here. However, as frustrated as I am with him, I really would like to see us succeed under Rafa.
That being said, Rafa's got to go if we don't progress in the league this year. And I can't think of a better available candidate than Jose...he's won the league twice, may have won it a third time if he didn't have to give Boulahrouz a run in the side last year and, at times, deputize Essien as a CB due to injury problems. Sure, he's a prick, but he'd be our prick...
That's about all I'm going to say right now. For the time being, Rafa's got to sort things out. I really want him to succeed, and I hope my fears that the wheels are falling off the bus aren't true.
Whatever the pro's and cons of Maureen at Anfield - the one thing that is clear is that Rafa needs to change. And quick.
Depends on how ruthless Gillett & Hicks are.
I believe Rafa is the man to win us the Premiership, but I hope G&H would be ruthless enough to make a change if that did not happen in the next few seasons.
From what I've seen of how they run their North American sports teams I'm afraid they may accept mediocrity as long as they make a buck.
Gillett owns the Montreal Canadiens - the Liverpool of ice hockey - but has failed to land the Stanley Cup since he took over. This is a team crying out for a title since 1993 and the fans would not be happy with the lack of success.
Hick's Dallas Stars won the Stanley Cup in 1998 but have done nowt since. And his Texas Rangers baseball team are rubbish.
There seems to be no push from either of them to get those teams to be winners - and Hicks has spent money on the Rangers stadium etc.
I hope they are ruthless enough to make sure we win the Premiership soon.
If we had some ham, we could have some ham and eggs .... if we had some eggs!
The only thing I'd require is that he shouldn't be allowed to spout **** at press conferences.
I do rate him as a manager. Like I've said many times before, Chelsea (under him) played attacking football, straight forward. Chelsea have always been attacking. Always! And we? Passing back to Carra (=Reina). And if we actually DO get a chance for a counter attack, we're passing the ball so slow that the opposition's defence is having a tea waiting for us inside their own penalty area.
I agree with you foggy
mate did you ever watch chelsea play under him?
I don't even think you would find a Chav supporter who agreed with that.

Every single last one of them are on the list there to been seen ...
Pathetic in my opinion
Anybody who criticizes Klopp ever is a James Blunt. Nov 2015 #****CITY
**** off maureenho..... your a complete **** with no class and i hope your name is never associated with our great club..
so - eh, no !!!!!!!!!!!
however my patience is running thin with our style of football at the moment.
"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.
"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

So you would consider Jose "£300m hoof the ball to Huth" Mourinho then?
Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
