I didnt enjoy any of our football when we won that treble under houllier. Was nice to pick the trphys up but going the game and watching 10 men in defence then ****ting it up the pitch in the hope that michael owen was faster than there defender was painful.

This is how mourinho plays, its succesful to an extent but I dont want to watch it.

It is hypothetical so its hard to answer. Its a bit like asking what if bin laden was our manager. For a kick off id be down the ground with about a zillion other reds protesting against it before it was signed and sealed so the club would pull out.

Hypothetically though it would be just like when houllier was in charge (only worse) you would support them because theyre your life but it would be thouroughly unenjoyable and painful.

We would be as hated as Chelsea if we won #19 diving and cheating. It would affect the Liverpool brand long term.

If you forget the fact that were playing **** at the moment (just like all the other teams will at some point) im very happy with the football we play under rafa. Only Riise spoils the fun with his aimless hoofs up the pitch

I don't think Jose did that brilliantly at chelsea, when you bear in mind that chelsea football club is a business which he was the manager of......i'd imagine they ran at a loss during his reign. Further more, he didn't do anything that Ranieri wouldn't have done with the same time and money.

Jose Mourinho is sensationally targeting Liverpool for his big comeback.

The former Chelsea boss has added the Reds to his shortlist of possible clubs to manage next following Rafa Benitez’s recent problems at Anfield.

At the time of his exit from Stamford Bridge in September, Mourinho insisted his next post would not be in England.

But that was before Benitez’s rotation policy cost Liverpool valuable ground in the Premier League, left their Champions League hopes on the brink and fans up in arms. Now Mourinho, who under his severance terms with Chelsea cannot work here until next June, believes succeeding Benitez could be his dream return ticket because: Liverpool have the financial power to compete with Europe’s elite

A source close to the Portuguese coach said: “There’s no question Liverpool is a club Jose would like to manage.”

Failure to beat Besiktas at home on Tuesday will end Liverpool’s Champions League interest - and further undermine the Spaniard’s standing at the club.

And unless he was deliver the Premier League, Benitez could well pay the price for blowing £50million last summer - and leave the door open for Mourinho.
