Newcastle to sell Ameobi and replace him with Adriano of Inter. They will also sign more defenders, no more than 2, and midfielders with the names of Deco, Joe Cole and Kaka being mentioned. Yes that is Kaka of Milan, unlikely I know, but Allardyce, Mort and Ashley are still looking for their "world class superstar", and I have been informed that Kaka is the target.

I think the LB CB cover is a good call, we need a very good option like this. How long Sami can fill the CB boots is up for debate. It for me anyways be an end of an Era when he pushs on.

I have a hunch we`ll draft someone in from the Premiership. Not gonna bring in someone from abroad cos they wont have time to settle immediately. Bringing a Prem defender in would mean he`s ready for Prem action straight away. (actually, I suppose Heinze would be ready straight away)

Although we really need a striker (or 2), I cant see us bagging one until the summer.

Joe Cole – Chelsea$ki: With Joe Cole unhappy about his position behind Malouda, it is well known he is not happy at the Chavs and Rafa is a big admirer. Steven Taylor – Newcastle United: It's well known that Rafa is a big admirer of this lad and will look to bring him in as the third choice CB, Hyypia will stay but play very infrequently. Newcastle would prefer to keep him but the chance to play Champions League football will be to much to turn down and Taylor will ask to leave. Out of all these the one I would really like to see come off (unlikely I know) is Joe Cole. Now I know that he annoys the hell out of most of you on here but I really do think he would be absolutely top draw for us.
