Keegan on his way back to us?

Keegan was apparently doing some coaching in attacking and finishing at the academy this week. The likes of Nathan Eccleston, David Amoo, Gary Mackay Steven, Astrit Ajdarevic, Ryan Crowther and Dalla Valle were taking part.
Astrit was according to Liverpool.no the one who stood out.

Could he be on his way back?

    Anyone know anything?

I have no on this one but Keegan does run "soccer schools" up and down the country (I think he has a big set up in Scotland)

probably just utilising his services to see if he is any good............ if he improves our young strikers, IMO we would utilise his services on a regular basis rather than appoint him to the backroom staff
Lawrenson:"Well thats 3 good chances they have had in the first 3 minutes of this half"

Motson:"" Yes Mark, you could almost say that they have had 3 chances in as many minutes"

Lawrenson: Errr I thought I just did say that, John"

would be nice to see. Her is a great attacking coach, atleast he was at Newcastle.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

          * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

very true, for some reason though, I dont think Rafa would let him anywhere near the defensive players thank ****, not that I think he will have a job at Liverpool any time soon. You never know though.

from a man managment point of view Keegan would be great and also couldn't see him having any issues being the no2.

but from a tactics points of view very similar to having a chocolate fire guard.

We need a number 2 and think Keegan would be good
Its times like these we learn to live again FF

I got slated for this last week but I'd like Paul Jewell as a No.2.

Garry Macca in at No 2. Of all the pundits out there at the moment, he constantly talks the most sense. i know this does not make him a great coach, but the man seems so intelligent. He would have instance respect among the players. Who can forget all his goals in the treble year....

He would be a great No. 2, not sure it would be what he is after though.

Another good candidate, but for some reason I think if he was going to be involved with Liverpool in a coaching role, he would be already. Not sure what the situation is with his family now, I know he was having problems in the past.

Unlike Keegan Gary Mac has never failed in Management, his tenure at Coventry was sadly cut short due to his wife's tragic illness.

If internet rumours can be believed he was in fact offered a coaching role with us some time back, but he decided that it was too soon to uproot his children, so soon after the loss of their mother

I have no idea if we would go back for him now.

                              Agree wholeheartedly (sp?)

As for Keegan I’m sure I read somewhere he said he wouldn’t be getting back to football with any club as he was enjoying these soccer schools he’s running.
