You know I think our best option for a new match winner is in the form of a true #10. Away from home you might want to go for a voro type. But at home imagine a Riqueleme / Deco feeding the on rushing midfield / Torres.

Riqueleme would be a no-no. Just too lazy. I mean yeah, i said 'sod the hard working bollocks' and i stand by that. But work ethic ALONGSIDE world class ability is fine. AKA Torres & Gerrard. But nah, Riqueleme would give up as soon as he got closed down and kicked to the ground.

Deco's on a downward slope now, definitely wouldnt want him.

I'd want someone fresh, exciting and full of impact. Both of those two have seen their best days and will go downhill.

Heard lots of good things, but i've not seen him so i cant say.

Agree with your assessment, but that it is the type of player, i'd be looking for. I'm sure AFII could help us out with who the new up and comers are.

These so called average players are still making us 3 points short of the top in a so called poor run. We have an excellent team, IMO. I can only see one team better than us and its Man Utd. But it's a close call. Time will tell.
