Sums up my thoughts exactly!Originally posted by bobbyfallon View Posti cant ****in believe that - that is even as bad as some of the manc songs sang at us. an absolute disgrace. if that banner is ever seen at a match then the scumbags responsible for it should be banned for life.
the liverpool fans who died that day could well have been neighbours and friends of everton fans and now missed by all.
shows the class of their petty little bitter fans.
look what we done not so long ago for that young lad - AT ANFIELD.
death puts football into perspective and we showed our class by playing the everton song at anfield. this is why we are the best fans in the world bar none. we have the sort of class that everton fans can only dream about having.
so to the redmen and italians who lost their lives over a football match i say to you R.I.P and Y.N.W.A

Do you know what though, although I loathe Everton, I really do feel sorry for the some of the older Everton fans who would be sickened by the young scally scum bags tarnishing their name.
Some cracking posts tonigh DS .

The question mark means otherwise....No?Originally posted by DJS View PostYes, they're all the same, arent they?
Unfortunately we are not in a position to
pick out the Liverpool FC lovin Mancs
and those that hate us.
Therefore from a forum point of view, all are viewed the same.

To me there's one obvious difference bewteen them and us:
We make banners praising our team/players/history/future
They make banners about us
To me that says it all really, I don't concern myself with teams below us, they rank in importance next to Bolton or some other such clubThomas Hicks Senior

Nah mate, we're not in that position. But there IS a middle ground between 'LFC loving' and enjoying or condoning banners like that.Originally posted by Shanks007 View PostThe question mark means otherwise....No?

It's no more logical to assume that all mancs would've enjoyed that banner, than it is to assume we ALL charged the barriers in Athens.
I'm sure most people are able to realise that.

Morph, as has already been said we've made lots of banners and flags about the Blue****e but the difference is ours are done in good humour, eg:Originally posted by Morphorino View PostWe make banners praising our team/players/history/future. They make banners about us

It's obvious that they have nothing on us in a footballing sense, so out of sheer desperation, they turn to other things to beat us with.
It's pretty sick and you know they wouldnt go there if they were better than us on the park.
Dunno if it's just me, but you seem to get de-sensitised to that kind of ****e as the years go by.

Yeah, it doesn't bother me in the slightest, it doesn't rile me up or make me want to make a banner about how bitter the blue****e are. But any sane fan thinking objectively has to appalled by it from a purely altruistic point of view. I honestly can't think of a more crass, distasteful, petty, disproportionate, misguided sentiment as that expressed on that banner. If I was a Juve fan, family member of the dead etc I'd be outraged that my dead brother's memory is taken in vain and *******ised to make some kind of petty point.Originally posted by DJS View PostIt's obvious that they have nothing on us in a footballing sense, so out of sheer desperation, they turn to other things to beat us with.
