so what does that mean? Crouch's goal ratio is better than Kenny's, Zola, Bergkamp, is he better than those three "strikers".
If not i do not know what you were implying?

I'm implying that, 'link man' or not, the 2nd striker has a duty to score goals too. Not as much as his partner, but still a decent amount.

Kenny, Zola and Bergkamp did - as well as being superb in their other contributions as 2nd strikers/forwards.

Kuyt doesnt score enough and isnt superb in his other contributions.

yet his scoring rate per games is similar to all these players? admittedly his assists are probably nowhere near but this was a goals thread...

Does anyone have a statistic on how often anyone changes their mind as a result of reading a thread in the LFC Forum?

My guess is it happens 0.001% of the time. If that.
            .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

I often change my opinion of the posters involved if that is any help

This whole Crouch v Kuyt debate

The common argument is that Crouch should play and Kuyt should be dropped.

                        Some agree, some don't.

Percentage who have changed their opinion - 0%

Percentage who are right - 100%

One small detail has, it seems, been overlooked.

In the last two games Crouch has played and Kuyt has been dropped.

Percentage of argument that is currently meaningless - 100%

Crouch leads the line. Kuyt plays in the hole. They play different roles. They are not competing with each other.

Unless Crouch is going to learn how to play the in the hole, he will be played less than Kuyt as Kuyt is marginally better than the Crow in the hole. AND Torres is light years ahead of Crouch in leading the line.

mate I've been saying that for ages, but the argument of why Kuyt is playing and Crouch not is pointless at the moment.

For the record I also believe Rafa sees it as Torres or Crouch for one position - and there can be only one winner.

Of course some on here know better than Benitez, but he was fortunate enough to open the lucky packet that had the Liverpool Manager's job inside.
