If the yanks **** this up then god ****ing help them.

i wouldnt worry to much, he is playing the big man. making sure they know he is pissed off.......look at this way. .....

The forums arent quite in meltdown, But i guarantee that letters will be sent to G&T, the echo, the club etc and g & T willl be left under no illusion who the fans are with Rafa is flexing his muscle i dont believe he would walk away without a fight. I mean he walked out on Valencia but that wasnt an instant snap decision i dont think??

This is an absolute PR nightmare. Rick Parry as CE should have never let this happen. If there has been tension and disagreement between Rafa and the owners if should have been confined to the boardroom and not the public domain. The press have been on Rafa's back all season and this has only confounded the problem. Now not only will we have back page headlines about rotation and sub standard performances but also boardroom rifts and Rafa resigning. I am shocked we are at this point off the field when our season is hanging in the balance on it. The most important thing here is Liverpool Football Club and our success. Ego's and pissing contests should be left out of the equation. Rafa and the yanks need to be dragged together and made realise this. The last thing we want is Rafa and the players distracted. I haven't decided who I am more annoyed with but at the moment all I care about is a game with Newcastle and 3 points.
        Dare we believe

On the flip side you've got Jack walker and Abramovich, Berlesconi at Milan, the various presidents of Real Madrid, the members of Barca etc.
          We come not to play.

graeme hunter was on irish radio this morning and said that that the rift between rafa and the americans was serious and that he is still pissed about buying benayoun and babel who were either not his first choices or not his choices at all. hunter can sound arrogant but he tends to be on the money.

"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

I'm thinking that this can't stew for another few weeks until the filth match when G&T will undoubtedly be over.

Imagine the headlines in the press the week before that match when they actually arrive?

its the ****in match against the scum too that they are coming over for.

we win they hear the stadium erupt - think why do we need more players??

we lose they think rafa is not the right man ???

I don’t think the burden of proof is on me to be honest. You claim that the Dubai consortium wanted to use the club as a plaything (a criticism widely used against Arab investors), what proof do you have? I merely stated that Rafa would not be worrying about money had they bought the club (fact), although I also think that as long time fans of the club they would have had respect for our traditions.

If this is true then I can't see Rafa staying much longer.

Hardly describe his recent purchases as lampshades. Why should G&T discuss this now? Keep scouting and discuss money late next month, you can still sound players out. Rafa is too often throwing his toys out the pram and shouldn't be continuely airing his moods.
