Also can I just state that I have no problem with G&H. So far they've done what they said they'd do, they've invest in quaility players (or at least Torres) and proceeding with a killer new stadium. I just would have prepared to have the type of money that the Arabs would have brought to the table- as I'm greedy like that.
It's money no strings, that we'd all like and I guess neither party was offering that.

The owners of teh club should have been given more guidance on the way Rafa needs things to be done by Rick Parry. He should be the one telling them what is required and when, not Rafa.
If Rafa needs to be pissed at anyone, I think it should be Parry. And to let Rafa go into aPC and carry on like that was ridiculous. Has anyone at the club not heard of appeasement?"Its not about the long ball or the short ball, its about the right ball." Bob Paisley

It looks like the Yanks want some silverware this season. Hence them edging thier bets about bringing in new players. No point bringing in new players if the manager isnt gonna be there and they wont get rid of Rafa if he is winning things. So no silver ware they'll get shut.

come kids. think about itBill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'
"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

Probably not that much.Originally posted by bobbyfallon View Postwhen you think about our net spend being 23m approx and what we have taken in from tv rights champions league final prem league - have the americans actually spent anything???Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I wasn't going to say this because of my views on the manager and I'm wide open to the 'you would say that wouldn't you?' accusation but it appears to me that no one much fancies the theory that maybe G+H don't have as much trust in Benitez as, eh, some others do....Originally posted by The Glove View PostIt looks like the Yanks want some silverware this season. read somewhere that they were not returning his calls maybe this was his way to get through to them - allbeit the wrong ****in wayOriginally posted by Jazzmaster View PostHang on now, wasnt RB the one who starting airing this in public first?"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.
"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

Might sound a bit dramatic, but you could be right (unless we win the league or CL).Originally posted by The Glove View Post

If there has been a dramatic fall out in relations between Rafa and G+H (I'm not suggesting for one minute that there has been, and I don't think there has, not a massive one anyway) then there's only one way it's going to end.
Think Abramovich-Mourinho.Dreams come true. Without that possibility, nature would not incite us to have them.
