    Again I'm not having that.

So Hick and Gillet come over in 3 weeks and say to Rafa ok you've got 15mil to spend in Jan. Then 2 weeks later the transfer window opens and they say sorry Rafa the stadium cost has gone up again you've only got 5 mil to spend and then 2 weeks later they say sorry Rafa the stadium cost has gone down you've now got 20 mil to spend?
You're being a bit facetious there pacman and I expect you to recognise that.

You were talking about the owners not doing their job because the budgets were not set out at the START OF THE SEASON and I responded to that.

    Now you've moved the goalposts

But we are not talking about Rafas personal spending we're talking about his LFC spending so the analogy is entirely appropriate.

And my bonus plan at work is based on very well defined performance indicators e.g. EBIT, I can review those #'s and work out which ball park I'm in. My brothers bonus get's paid 1/4ly, so to assume a business is incapable of determining a bonus pay out to the last minute is nonsense.

Look all of this issues are bringing up are addressed adequately in millions of business the world over. There is nothing unique about our situation.

Rafa got a massive support in terms of money and confidence from the owners in the summer but he hasnt stoped complaining.
He has to shut up and do the talking on the pitch and win us games with the brilliant squad he's got at his disposal.
Now that is a better post.

If Rafa was given a budget for the season and he blew it in the summer then you're right he shouldn't be complaining to the press he should be politely asking hicks and Gillet for more money if he thinks it's needed and if they told him to get stuffed then he wouldn't have much of a leg to stand on. I feel however that this isn't the case and Rafa is getting pissed off because basically he doesn't know where he stands at the min.

We need cover at the back, should have got Heinze had it not been been for the scum bags.

Mascharano - well we all know he is on loan and eventually he has to be bought.

A striker - well this is speculation, depends on what happens to Crouch.

          Thats not unreasonable?
          We come not to play.

I haven't moved the goal posts at all.

The building of a new stadium should be a separate entity. Arsenal managed to budget but we seem to have to wait until they very last minute before we can plan. Surely you can see that this isn't a healthy and a frustrating situation for the 1st team manager? So is this going to be the case until 2011 when it's built?

Maybe he has been told a similar story to what you suggest but he wants it to be more specific?
We don't know the facts really do we?
Mate, do you not agree that with the information I provided that Rafa would be able to do his job. Would be able to say hmmm, we're not going to qualify for the CL group, so I'll push Mascher purchase out until next year and use the much less cash I've got now for a couple players for the reserves?

It is not a big ask for the chuckle brothers to provide this.

How do you know the details of Arsenal's discussions with Wenger?

You don't, they could have had blazing rows, or maybe Wenger could see the bigger picture and was respectful to the owners and their plan for the future.

How can anyone back Rafa's position of publically attacking his bosses in the press? Madness

Call them what you want but the new owners have comitted the club to building a new state of the art stadium which when completed will be one of the best in the country, maybe the world. That is planning for the club's future, it's not pissing tens of millions of pounds away on transfer budgets.

Maybe you'd like them to "live the dream" like Peter Ridsdale?

Mate, they've been refusing to take his calls. What else could he do?

Irrespective of whether Rafa has had plenty to spend before the bottom line is the lack of contact from those 'Americans' and the lack of grace in their public comments. Rafa isn't happy that he is going to be discussing the Jan window 15days before it opens. It's ludicrous. I bet Fergie is laughing his arse off. One thing you can say about the Glazers and Fergie is that they don't slag eachother off across the Atlantic. Liverpool have shot themselves in the foot and the 'Americans' have shown themselves up to be ****e man managers and about as graceful as Pacman in a Tutu.

Well I thought the whole point of this investment was to allow us to compete in the transfer market for the very best players - no point having a ****e team in a beautiful stadium.

Start with the team, get us winning trophies and then move onto the stadium. If the investors cannot do that, they are wrong for this club. Simple.

I want a winning Liverpool FC - that is all I care about. If we have to stay at Anfield a while longer, than so be it.

Nobody but Rafa wanted this scumbag at LFC, that saga was a disgrace and didnt do any good to our image.
He should have focused on other CBs and signed one. He wasted his time and then it was too late to find another player.. Rafa completely ****ed up and he's the only one to blame.
We need a CB in January but the other positions are well covered imo.
We dont need any strikers. We need Rafa to use them properly and not playing our worst one alone up front.
Mascher will be signed next summer but we know how complicated it is with this MSI stuff.

Email them or resign, I don't know, but if my boss(es) wasn't taking my calls I wouldn't slag them off in a press conference.

sorry mate your being a bit melodramatic there. Businesses the world over have been able to plan expenditures and investments for millions of years now. Arsenal managed it.

What, in your view, is SO different about us that we can't?

Why is spending like risdale the other alternative? Why not the Arsenal alternative?
