Again, as has been said on here, in the US the manager is bottom of the ladder, under the CEO...meaning Parry being over Rafa.. well, let us hope they haven't misunderstood that.

Add what Rafa said today, that they don't really understand the way the transfer market runs here, and it might not be too far off.
In this country the manager is beow the CEO.

I wonder if it is all a misunderstanding and they are saying Rafa should speak to Parry and Parry will sort all transfers out so it doesn't take up Rafa's time. Rafa still makes all decisions but Parry does the leg work and will be doing it now. I dont think the G&H want to be as hands on as Rafa wants them to be, they want Parry and Foster to run the club and Rafa run all team affairs inc who to buy and sell but not do work.

Yeah, I meant in deciding transfers and deciding on football matters. Let's just hope that the part in bold is true.

Let's hope it's just a communication 'thang' and that bill and ben are brought, in short order, to understand, first and foremost how LFC works, how football (proper) works, and how European culture (business and otherwise) is different to the great satan - because if anyone thinks Parry's going to bring home 19 & 6....

Anyone ever been to a rounders game in the US - or that ****e version of rugby they call football? It's useless! People go there to talk, eat and drink - not to watch anything. Passion???? They don't know the meaning of the word...

If eveything is to rosy. Why has Rafa come out today and told the boss that told him to belt up that he didn't know what he was doing?

Why did he feel the need to wear a tracksuit?

                This is not over.

"We had a meeting the day of the Arsenal game and the meeting was really positive.

"After that meeting, something changed. I tried to explain my ideas, but they said to me 'Rafa, keep focussing on coaching and training because Rick Parry will be in charge of buying and selling players'.

"I tried to explain to them and now, it is simple: they say, 'Keep focussed and Mr Parry will keep working in the transfer market'
                  ."

It's obvious to me (if this is a verbatim quote) that if 'something changed' it is not to Rafa's liking, and allied to the press conference and his appearance in a track suit, the 'my fans' slip etc he's letting us know.

I really hate doom mongers and the like, but if we're not careful I really do believe Rafa will walk - soon.

I think saying 'Rafa points and Parry fetches' is way too simplistic.

Summinks up - and the 'my fans' bit could be a hint that he needs our support.

I'm also on the outside of a bottle of wine and have hardly eaten all day so I could be talking utter ****e!
I wouldn't worry, mate. Parry has always been in charge of transfer finances and I think the point Rafa was making is that Rick Parry is in charge of dealing with club, players agents etc... I don't think it means that Parry is out selecting players to sign.

Perhaps not but I think/hope that there will be no more public outbursts by either side and all this mess is sorted out behind closed doors.

Rafa, doesn't trust the CEO though does he. That's why he's been trying to work around him. That's why they beat him up yesterday. That's why he wore a tracksuit today. Thats why he told them they didn't know how to do their job.

                          THAT is the problem.

You think Rafa will back down.

How worse to punch someones buttons than to DRESS 'for coaching and training' and then use the first possible interview to tell your boss he does not how to run his business and then just to up the ante, he makes it clear that the supporters 'MY supporters' are against them.

                            Get real.

Rafa wants a fight and he's not backing down. Buster Gonad move aside.

Parry is only around as a symbol. He's days ended when Moores left. I thought everybody knew and understood that...?

I'm not saying either side will back down but there is such a thing as meeting in the middle and I hope that this is done behind closed doors.
