Good man Al - I completely agree - we're simmering nicely at the minute, I'm really looking forward to the Porto game now - the Champions League situation is a bit weird - in one way its added pressure but at the same time its a brilliant situation for building the auld siege mentality in the squad.

I think Porto will be OK, the pressure will be the Marsielle game, that week will really decide our season, Marsielle then the mancs.

3 points behind scum with a game in hand. Coming into a bit of form, with players to come back.

That is impressive, especially considering our generally poor away from in the Premier League under Rafa in previous seasons.

We are ticking along nicely at the minute. A win against the Scum next month and a good Christmas and we will really know if we can win the title this year.

If Chelsea win we'll be back in 5th. Sack Rafa.

We have Bolton next and the mancs get their turn on Derby - Walcott carried off today for Arsenal who still haven't stumbled even without Cesc today.

It's a shame Arsenal only had wigan. If they'd faced someone half decent with Fabregas and RvP, it would've been interesting.

Arsenal, 8 home games and 5 away games so far.
LFC 6 Home games and 7 away games.

I know who's unbeaten record looks more difficult.

Fabregas made sure it was the Wigan game he missed mate. Players are told to get booked in certain games so that they pick and choose the game they are banned for.
                          Liverpool born and bred.

But it's a safe bet that Arsenal's victory against woeful Fulham through two very late goals will be lauded as an example of their never-say-die spirit whilst Liverpool's similar result with similar late goals against the same Fulham was almost universally described in the media in the most negative terms. It's a funny old game isn't it?

But why should Arsenal stumble at home without Fabregas? They've got a bloody big squad, Fulham are very poor and he's just one player

Need to beat Porto on Wednesday night now.

Anything other than a victory would be a massive blow to the confidence in the squad.

Not to mention our bank balance and our owner's patience as we would be out of the CL.
