Rafa Leaving?

I think we's all like Rafa to have more cash to splash but G&H own the club. Like any employee in any business, no matter how valuable an employee you are, if you regularly slag the boss off openly, before too long you'll be an ex employee. I think before next season that will be Rafa's fate. No whether he's sacked or resigns hardly matters. If he's gone he's gone.AKA Heighway No9

That would be a much classier banner to use. I like the idea of an endless looping song as well.Originally posted by Iceman View PostI dont know how their franchises are run in the states but they need to be told in no uncertain terms just how highly we regard this man.
Maybe a Shankly quote should be pointed out to them:

Well, our owners should then stop to promise him a lot of things before they know all the facts, like how the transfer system works and how much an excellent player really costs.Originally posted by Sir Bob View PostI think we's all like Rafa to have more cash to splash but G&H own the club. According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I think the best response would be if our supporters would sing the Rafa Benitez song for a long time against Man U, and I mean a long time.
That would show that all of us backs Rafa.Just believe and you never know what will happen.

I think Rafa saw through their PR blitz much better than Moores and Parry. I dunno why but i believe Rafa to be a better judge of character than these 2.Originally posted by dww View PostI think Rafa saw what the owners did when they came in, the flashing cash in interviews etc., and decided that if they were going to use the media like that then he would use it too. It's not the healthiest of ways of proceeding but if we keep performing on the pitch I can live with the off field nonsense.

right - for those of you who are going to the match on Wednesday night the lads on RAOTL are organising a protest to let Hicks & Gillett know how much we want Rafa to stay as Boss. Meeting at the Sandon at 7pm.'Of course I didn't take my wife to see Rochdale as an anniversary present.

I think Moores did a decent job of getting owners who would sort the stadium and progress the club while getting good money for the shareholders to be honest. I haven't seen any evidence that either Parry or Moores were deceived by anyone.Originally posted by peekay View PostI think Rafa saw through their PR blitz much better than Moores and Parry. I think the PR was aimed at skeptical supporters and at trying to prevent a repeat of what happened when american owners took control at United. It was ill judged in the long term as I don't think they fully comprehended what spending big meant in European football terms."The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."

don't think Rafa's going to walk mate - it's the Co-Chairmen who'll be pushing him out from all rumours
