That's exactly what has happened IMO. He did it after Athens and they can't allow it to keep happening.

Now they need to bury the hatchet and get on with running our football club.

Yep, and I can't begin to imagine who is going to eat **** on this and back down, that's what scares me- fcuking men! ( sorry about the generalisation).

Does anyone know how to find the email addresses of G&H or there PR companies?

Neither has to eat ****. They just have to present a united (shudder) front in public and say they are working together for the good of the club.

If there is **** going on it should be behind closed doors. It wouldn't be the first time.

I totally agree that it should be behind closed doors, but it's not and that's what worries me, they seen to be playing a game of who's got the biggest willy- if you see what I' saying.

I do. I am clinging to the hope that now that they've waved their lads in the wind a bit that they might cool down and say "Alright, how do we go forward from here?"

I don't think protests on Wed. will help anyone by the way but a strong show of support for the manager never goes astray.

from what i've been reading all day the situation seems like this:

                  1. After the Arsenal game they all met and was hunky dory, but Foster Gillett was never seen again.
                  2. Rafa has only had slight contact [usually via email] with G&H since then
                  3. During international window Rafa does what he normally does - work on trnasfers. When he informs G&H what he's set up [incl. Mascher deal] they've backed off and told him to concentrate on coaching the team until Dec 16th
                  4. During all this there is talk of problem between G&H regarding funding of the stadium. Prices have gone up and Hicks wants to negotiate a big loan secured against the club while Gillett wants to keep his promise not to do this. There is talk of another billionaire bidder buying Hicks out [thus letting him buy Roma]
                  5. Parry and Rafa haven't seen eye-to-eye for ages. Parry is a supreme political being, and it seems he has the inside track with G&H, to the point that he will be dealing with transfers from now on. Remember Rafa once bollocked him for being deadly slow when negotiating transfers thus meaning we lost targets we were in for.

Rafa is no politician. He is a football manager par excellence. He is now as frustrated as he was during the last season at Valencia, because other people are making it impossible for him to realise his ambitions for the club. HE WILL NOT WALK UNTIL THE END OF THE SEASON. But he will try to push for what he wants until then, albeit in a rather childish manner. From lots of reports coming in from various sources, his position is extremely perilous, and he could be sacked before Dec. 16th. WE CANNOT LET THIS HAPPEN

                  It was her birthday.
Would I have got married during the football season ?
                  Anyway, it was Rochdale reserves.'

Might be worth commenting on the latest in the Times. There's a your say section at the bottom.

                      Top post.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Well, I'm just going to do what Liverpool fans do best and just sing Rafa's name. Just realised I'm in the Lower centenatry rather than the Kop so will probably piss a lot of people off by singing

I'm expecting the whole centenary to be singing too

The statement doesn't exactly back Rafa but if they had game him a ringing endorsement the press would have twisted it as the dreaded vote of confidence wouldn't they?
