If we sign a new ball playing central defender then we may start to pass the ball from the back instead of hoofing it with Hyypia and Carra playing so I agree, it would upset the team balance.

I'm not sure anything irreperable has happened in public. No one but those involved knows what sort of reflection of what is happening internally what we have seen is. I really can't see why if Hicks and Gillett had decided to get rid of Rafa they wouldn't just have sacked him now. This is enough to give me a little heart about how things will turn out (at least until the summer).

It is obvious that the working relationship has to change. The current arrangement seems to be unworkable and to be honest it look slike Rafa is the one in the right about the transfers even if the way he has chosen to display his displeasure has been disappointing. I think that G&H will at the very least see that there is some business sense in Rafas plan but will certainly need reassurance he will not be slating them in the press again.
