CL Knock out stage qualification

Wasnt exactly sure our status, so just wanted to check

1) We go through to the next stage definetly with any type of scoreline victory at Marseille and possibly a draw if other fixtures work out

2) Can we win the group still?

3) IF we get through, and it seems likely in second place?, then we can only draw non-EPL team - therefore its a second round tie against either Milan,Inter,Barca,Madrid or Seville (possibly)

1) We need to win; a draw would not be enough. A draw would leave us equal in points with Marseille so after that they compare results against the teams equal in points. We would have lost and drawn with Marseille therefore they will finish above us. The other match's score is irrelevant in that respect.

2) Yes we can if Besiktas beat or draw with Porto (and we win as required).

3) Ummm not sure what round the country protection is removed

Surely it's straight after the first round after groups is over? There's no draws after that so no protection can be applied.

No we cant. Besiktas would have 9 pts, us and Marseille would be on 8 with Marseille finishing above us due to better head to head record.
