    My side would be:

    REINA
    FINNAN CARRA HYYPIA ARBELOA
    BENAYOUN MASHER GERRARD KEWELL
    TORRES KUYT

With Babel on the bench to replace Kewell on 55-60 mins and The Crow/Crouch to keep Torres fresh once he's made his impact.
The only way the kid is gonna get experience though is by actually getting thrown in.

Reading are hardly the scariest of teams to be thrown in against like.

We have 9 games in 5 weeks now, so I am expecting a fair bit of "rotation" through December.

As for the defence Vs Reading, agree that Carra wont be risked, but I have a feeling Rafa will opt for a back 4 of

        FINNAN - ARBELOA - HYYPIA - RIISE
That's what i'd go for too.

        When's Aurelio back anyway?

Granted, and I'm quite happy to give him 30 mins if/when we're safe. But first priority has to be winning the game, Reading are in poor form and we can't pass up an opportunity for a relatively simple 3 points.

I'd rather give him the last 20-30 minutes if we are a couple of goals up, mate.

Fair do`s mate, but I think it would be crazy to risk Carragher missing the mancs through getting suspended or aggravating his rib injury by playing him against a **** Reading side.

The form we are in our reserve team should be able to beat this shower.

IMO you have to trust Carra to have the manc game in the back of his mind and use his experience to limit the risk. It's a tough one, but we're more likely to lose points against the mancs anyway so I'd try and get as close to guaranteeing 3 against reading as possible.

How big a blow would a point/no points against reading with Hobbs in the side followed by a loss against the mancs with Carra be.

My plan was actually to get 3 points against reading with hobbs in the side and then get 3 against the mancs with Carra to be fair like

I can't see Torres starting this one, i'd start him and take him off after 60min should we have the lead.
                        On the Ning Nang Nong
                        Where the Cows go Bong!
And the Monkeys all say Boo!
                        There's a Nong Nang Ning
                        Where the trees go Ping!
And the tea pots Jibber Jabber Joo.
                        On the Nong Ning Nang
                        All the mice go Clang!
And you just can't catch 'em when they do!
                        So it's Ning Nang Nong!

I`d play Hobbs, and have Momo or Macher as DM.
The risk of Carra getting a yellow are to big. He will have the risk at the back of his mind, and that will influence his plat to much IMO.
Arbeloa is an option as well, but I`d give Hoobbs the chance.
We should have enough class to beat them anyway.

Could not disagree more with you mate ... this the team that put two keepers in Hospital in the same match ...Carra is a Pro he could play 10 matches in a row and not pick up a card if it was req

We need to keep the pressure on ..

he's a bit prone to giving away silly fouls this season.

mark clettenburg should be allowed ref all our games . a model professional he is.
"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."
