I'm confident Shaggy. And I've been saying it for while now, along with Coops amongst others, even when we dropped silly points earler when everyone was going mental.
I agree it would have been better not to drop the point obviousle but all teams will have bad times and I believe we've had ours and still stayed with it.No, no, no.........I'm only scary 'cause I'm hairy
Big year for me 2008, hope it all goes well for me, oh, and you lot too!

sometimes people need this sort of thing spelled out to them.

We will be saying this is a must win game now until the end of the season.

I tend to see what your saying here...Originally posted by DJS View PostI do like Kewell, dont get me wrong.
I just see a few people acting as if he's in the same league as torres and gerrard, when it comes to being an impact player - he really isnt in the same ballpark.
He'll never reach the heights he reached at Leeds, but he's an experienced player - even though the injuries have crippled his BEST football years spent mostly off the pitch, and he carries the 'nous' and temperamant out perfectly in many ways. He is no stranger to the occasional shocker and one would question his almost 'eager readiness' to want to play (in the past few years) when Liverpool have reached a final or are on their way there... after yet another lengthy injury.
If he gets injured again this season then it's time to cut our losses and sell. He really has to pull out all the stops this season if he wants Rafa and his EMPLOYERS to give him another year, or two, contract. They'll be spending in the summer if need be.
Right now I am impressed by his comeback so far and feel he can only get better after his 'in fairly good knick' form since being drafted back in.
I don't slate him, I always support him in the red shirt but I still feel hard done by, by not witnessing the Harry Kewell we bought from Leeds playing like that for Liverpool.
Your too good to be true, can't take the ball off you you got a heavenly touch, you pass like Sounness to rush. And when we're pissed in the bars we thank the Lord that your ours

People often say that those teams that are involved in the relegation dogfight who play each other at the end of a season are playing in 6 pointer matches.
Our game against Utd is a 6 pointer imo, it's imperative we win this game. We can't keep losing points against these pricks home and away each season it's not good enough.
Think of the pshycological edge we'll have over Utd if we beat them, I believe we can go to Arsenal and Chelsea this year and win, going to Old Trafford I'm not so confident about as we never seem to perform there, we need to ****ing snap out of it. We turn into a team of fannys when we play at Utd and it's time for the lads to step it up now.Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. If we beat Reading and United, then I'll really start to believe we can do it. There's no doubt about it, we've got the bit between our teeth right now and out of all teams I would say we're the most confident going into the next run of games. As long as our top players stay fit and start then we have a very very good chance of being top come January 1st.
I just hope Rafa doesn't do something insane and start with the likes of Kuyt, Voronin and Momo against Reading because that would be pure suicide.

Talking about confidence, what worries me is this Marseille game on the horizon, and the possible consequences of not beating them and not going through.Originally posted by desertscouser View PostIf we beat Reading and United, then I'll really start to believe we can do it. Shouldn't be thinking in those terms admittedly as we have everything in our locker to go there and beat them, but right now that looks to be a huge game which could have massive implications for our season.

Police resources is the answer
Monday night The Royal Variety Club Performance.......... at the Empire
Tonight the Blue****e were playing at home in the Uefa cup
both involved massive extra policing.............. so I suppose the police wanted last night (tuesday) off
I suppose the West Ham game will be rescheduled once we know our fate in the various cup competitions

Motson:"" Yes Mark, you could almost say that they have had 3 chances in as many minutes"

Same here mate, I'm not too confident about the game tbh, we don't particulary deserve to go through through at the end of the day, apart from demolishing Besiktas we've been very poor in CL this year.Originally posted by Dhavlos View PostTalking about confidence, what worries me is this Marseille game on the horizon, and the possible consequences of not beating them and not going through.

I just hope that we can beat them at the end of the day, we're playing very well at the moment but it will be a very difficult game that. Like you said, just worried that it may affect the players confidence for the rest of the season.
It's still baffled me as to why we've been so ****e in the CL this year, maybe we've been a bit too confident thinking we can just breeze through as we've been in the final for the last 2 out of 3 years which is a very poor attitude to take going in to matches. It's even harder to take considering how well we're playing at the moment....strange!
