People seem to be defending Rafa under the belief that to beat Marseille/Man Utd, then we had to lose to Reading or if we beat Reading then we would've lost to Marseille/Man Utd. I'm sorry but we're Liverpool, we should be beating Reading & then Marseille & why not Utd as well?
Youre right, we should be beating all 3. We'd all love it. I think Rafa got it wrong today but he cant get it right everytime and if he is going to get it wrong (like today) then better today than Tuesday or Sunday for me.Bill Oddie, Bill Oddie, put your hands all over my body.

If I had to guess... I think Rafa knows that he will lose his job if the next two results don't go his way. He tried to be clever and it didn't pay off today. We might all want the League but the Champions League is needed for the money and his job I think. He's taken a calculated risk tonight. However it doesn't excuse the formation, which was baffling, and why certain players were not played. I can't only think that Bennayoun, Kuyt, Lucas are starters on Wednesday....

They had the same problem in the NHL(National Hockey League).
The star players got injured because of the **** refs who didn't take enough penalties. The attacker got away with it so they continued to hack down the best players.
They changed that a few seasons ago so now the refs are protecting the players a lot better and the star players isn't injured as often anymore.
It's not exactly rocket science.
The refs must start to protect the players or else the stars will be sitting in the stands injured instead of playing.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

The only way is up for Rafa. An untidy 1-0 will be a massive confidence booster for the Scum on 'Grand Slam Sunday'Originally posted by The Glove View PostYoure right, we should be beating all 3. If you do, you're wrong Fella, I'm sorry.
Kalou gets a game at Chelsea. Even Sidwell does. Would they get in at Liverpool? Every team has its share of non world beaters.Bill Oddie, Bill Oddie, put your hands all over my body.

I hope you are wrong. Rafa's job should not be on the line and if he has tried to be clever and changed the team today to improve the chances of him keeping his job then we are in a dark placeOriginally posted by vonk View PostIf I had to guess... Don't know how that can't be partly to blame, not totally. Yeah the team selection was a bit out. However, that team was still good enough to beat Reading
Our luck wasn't in today. That's quite clear to see. However, too many people are jumping on the rotation bandwagon again. No doubt the papers will be. Personally I don't give a ****. We're still in the title race and nothing is over. It's a blip. But we can put it right in the next week.
To all those slating Rafa we hammered Bolton and Newcastle playing some fantastic stuff. Why didn't you ask for him to be sacked then? Go back to reading the **** rags and we'll see you again when we lose or draw
Come on Hatton...****ing have him
